Just as an aside. Miller may not be next man up. He hasn't even played fullback since 2nd April (round 4)

I dont think having Nicho playing at FB is going to take much away from our attack. He can still be in the moves and structures as per normal, Tricky could do both some easy plays plus act as the extra man, like he has occasionally been doing, the "13" so to speak. In defence Nicho would be at the back organising, and he is experienced at it, Tricky in the line.
They would have practiced for such scenarios as well.

Don’t think we will be as exhausted from that game as we could be.
We made less than 300 tackles, only Melbourne with less this round.
Didn’t really have to defend for long terms under pressure.
Few decent stoppages, perfect weather with 7 day turn around.
Players got to sleep in their own beds not travelling.

I’ve converted to the Trindall in and Hynes to fullback option brigade.

Kicking options still there, can come into the line and n attack, is great at backing up breaks etc.

Tracey to centre.

Keep Ronnie on the wing where his hard work at the start of sets gets us a good roll on.

Ikuvalo on the bench if we go with this option. Allows for movement in backline to adjust if needed.

I’d be looking for as little disruption to the regular side as possible. Having already lost Kennedy and Jesse, you’ve already lost specialists in two positions. I wouldn’t want to be changing a third position by moving Nicho.

Miller to FB, Tracey to centre and Ikuvalu to wing makes most sense to me

Agree with the least amount of disruption.

if Ronnie is back:

1. Miller/Metcalf
2. Ronnie/Ikavalu
3. Sifa
4. Tracey
5. Katia
6. Moylan
7. Hynes.

14. Trindall

Could even swap Ronnie and Connor (Ronnie to centre and leave Connor on the wing) to give Tracey a bit more time back in firsts before he moves to centre.

I won’t be taking much notice of the 1-17 named tomorrow. Think this is the week Fitz will have a number of positional moves and players who are named 18-21 play.
Time for Fitz to play games with Sticky

Raiders in round 1 had a bit of momentum with us losing the coach and captain before kickoff… this time sticky sees us lose our FB and Centre. Lucks a charm sometimes …

Fully aware they have no Croker or whighton but also f**k Ricky

Depends how ready Miller is from injury. If he’s good to go I say chuck him back there.

I might have a different view if it was for only 1 week, but it’ll be 3. I want Nicho at 7 full time learning his trade.

Actually bubba is a 2 week ban. Still, give Miller week 1 and see how it goes.

Hard one. The way I think it will go is

1 Hynes
2 Katoa
3 Hiroti
4 Tracey
5 Mullas

Hiroti was our 18th man yesterday. He's not there for a haircut.
