6. Nobody(mainly Nene/Lafai) giving Dufty a call that there was no pressure from behind. He takes a grubber dead in goal when he had time to let it go dead(which it was). Souths get 2 points from a penalty next set from the dropout when we should of had 7 tackles.
We had a few brain snaps throughout.
It was spoken on nrl 360 last night about how Seibold prepared Souffs all year for dealing with pressure situations such as setting up for field goals etc. We looked like we had no idea whatsoever about setting up for one or trying to stop one. What does Mary do with them at training?

What's interesting is that you guys pick this as the difference between Seibold and Mary and carry on like it's something we should be doing week in week out.

Yet the week before, all that preparation didn't prevent Souths from losing to Storm by a point or the week after being unceremoniously dumped from the finals race without putting up much of a fight at all - their attack against the Roosters was non-existent. Not to mention, a team given no chance of beating them and finishing well under them in the 8 took them to 79th minute and only a field goal specialist could separate the 2 teams.

I ask you, what was Seibold doing with them at training last week? Obviously taking instructions from GI and preparing for field goals all week...

Nothing takes away from the fact that mary hasn't got a clue as a coach

I'm proud of our history and in the more recent times, the achievement of SGI in 2010. For me, we should every year be focussed on our task of WINNING a competition.

I’ve been supporting them since late 60’s & will continue to no matter what. I must say(barring the Bennett years)that I’ve been disappointed in the way the club has been run in the last 10/15 years- which probably has Doust’s finger prints all over it. Let’s hope the future is positive & successful. As always I’ll be supporting the team.
