People have been saying "Cappy is gone" after every loss this season.

Will believe it when I see it and we'll see it when Doyle finds a suitable replacement at the very earliest, not beforehand.

One question I'd like asked but don't expect to be - "Last year our attacking structure was based around SJ and Tomkins combining. With Tomkins gone and RTS/Luke coming in, why does their appear to be no change in the way we attack despite the different styles of the players?"

Theres nobody in the pipeline that could take the role on. Webster isnt up to it, Morgan obviosuly isnt as he is the defensive coach and we are appauling there. Only possibly chance is to give stacey the reigns till the end of the year to try and salvage something, and we throw the cheque book at toovey for next year with stacey moving to assistant.

Yep he simply can't coach. When RTS was hurt he mumbled no change to our structure they bare very similar players (RTS and Lolohea).

All pathetic I'd be looking across the club and asking who should we keep?

I wanted Cleary but we know he got that other gig so that leaves Kearney, Anderson or Toovey. I'd be happy with either. Andrew has had his chances and I was backing him

I think Anderson is out because of the Eels fiasco. I think he is suspended from NRL activity.

Yet Morgan was the defensive coach of the Storm last year, when they conceded 348 points the whole year - second best in the comp. Conceding what's that, 14 points or so a game?

Ring up Craig Bellamy and ask him if he rates Justin Morgan. I get the feeling I'd know the answer.

I believe Morgan is a potential NRL head coach who has been absolutely shafted by the complete lack of professionalism and heart at our club. The attitude of our defence is not set by Justin Morgan. The attitude is set by the head coach and our CEO, foremost. Defence is attitude first and foremost which is why we absolutely suck at it. Morgan might regret ever coming here, if it tarnishes his name. He must've come here for a reason, with head coach in mind, and I'd have no trouble him taking over as an interim. The other guy needs to go right away.

Look at Kata and Ayshford. Two absolute liabilities in the past, yet both have been vastly, vastly improved this year on D. They have decent attitudes and can be coached. The rest of them are uncoachable. I realise that also can apply with the head coach, but he's set the mood. He's been here 2 years as the head coach. It's his side.

any quotes in that article

cos at the start of the season the papers were saying hes got 6 weeks
then it was until round 12
now its 15 weeks

The article says we've missed the finals 4 out of the last 5 years so I think we can ignore it on lack of legitimacy. It also says McFadden is one of only a few Warriors coaches to win 20 games. WTF? Who cares? He's also one of 5 or 6 who's never got us to the finals. And loss percentage wise is heading into the 30s.

Unless we go on another 8-10 match losing streak, I think he's here until round 26. And thus, I will not be watching the back-half of the year. I've got better things to do than watch a dead man coaching try and lead a bunch of hacks not listening. I'm a fan, but being a fan does not entail having to put up with anything and blindly tuning in every week. I'll watch losses if they contain heart and desire to improve. Not this shit.

Well, what's certain is that none of us will be watching next week. That bye couldn't have come at a better time, could you imagine turning out for the Broncos so soon after this latest performance?

So, what will change in two weeks as opposed to one? Doyle has an extra week to have a good, hard look at things. If he's into action he could also have this extra week to settle a new head coach in.

The season's not yet half over, there's time to do something. Most of us have accepted by now that, without a new head coach, we're not making the play-offs this year, or beyond.

I don't know that facing them after the bye makes it any better. Although yeah, if we got them after the Cows loss they might be hurting and absolutely put a ton on us.

What will change in two weeks? Nothing. Zero. Few changes of personnel no doubt, so the next team list will probably perk our interest. But there is an absolute stench through this organisation that cannot be washed off with more significant change than is able to be executed in a fortnight.

The only coach that can start in the next 2 weeks is Justin Morgan. I'd have him. But he might be too far entrenched in this shit storm. He, for my mind, is 100x the coach McFadden is. He's had more success than McFadden ever will.

The season is pretty much over, barring our usual BS mid-year run. The attitudes didn't change after the Red Bull 6 came back. Nothing will change until structurally with our coaching and management, something is done. It can't be done in 2 weeks. So we wait for next year...again.....

15 weeks takes us to the end of our season.
The same as Doyle said from the start.
However I think another 15 weeks of this rubbish will have a detrimental effect on the club and supporters and Doyle may have to step in earlier to salvage some credibility.
