Luke Lewis frequently commentates on ABC Radio 702. He does pretty well but his vocabulary is limited and he repeats himself quite often. To his credit he is working hard on those aspects of his commentary. Not sure he can make it to Channel 9 or FOX level but I think he is decent enough. Certainly better than some absolute monkeys like Anasta who honestly don’t belong in commentary or NRL media at all.
Bwaith has actually somewhat improved NRL360.

I’m in the Anasta camp on 360 as well. When it was announced I expected he’d be hopeless, but he goes alright. I like that he isn’t afraid to call the other flogs out when they act like they have played the game. He does a decent job of keeping things moving when they get bogged down with an agenda. So much better than Vonny giggling.

Nobody would have a problem with Staines starting if he could just get involved more off kick returns ect. He has improved in that aspect from last year but it’s still nowhere near the levels of the other 4 in front of him
Didn't he run 200+ metres in his last game? Against the Cowboys too, not an easy team that will just lie down and let you make metres.

Charlie has averaged 136m per game in 2022.

Tyrone May has averaged 155m per game

Not a whole lot of difference. Charlie has also been benched or used from the bench a couple times lowering his minutes and average metres .

In his games at fullback... He gained 176m against Storm in 62 minutes. Against Cowboys he gained 177m.

Both games we were comprehensively beaten... But we also had very depleted squads in both. So pretty respectable numbers. He's no Edwards. But he's not lazy either.

The stats don't do Staines any favours

He will get in if Ivan thinks he is the less risky option

If Ivan wants power Turuva

I'm hoping Staines gets the nod. I'm a big Turuva fan, but he will have to wait for his shot. Staines reads the game well and his speed could come in handy defensively, especially against Souffs.

Our back 3 are our strength, Staines bringing the ball back isn't nearly as hard to stop
