Glad Fitz is picking the team and not some of you freaks. Both will play a role but Nicho is the main man and will prove it over the next few weeks. Him and Tricky of course.

stake is picking the team and Moroko has replaced The Italian Immortal.

Nicho was undefeated in the finals before he came to the sharks. If we don’t win this weekend I think the club needs to take a real hard look at itself and ask why we are letting him down.

Wow big difference between the stats to Hughes & Hynes since Hynes arrived at Sharks. Hughes game has really improved, prob dally M this year & Hynes, well, hes not really a starting player is he? Good on him for extracting a $1 million per year for 7 years though! Good money if you can get it!
Hughes running metres 8729 Hynes 4117
Hughes LB's 69 Hynes 14

Those stats are over 5 seasons of Half Back play, this is Hynes 3rd season, Hughes' 5th as HB.

But when we got Fox Sports Lab to crunch the numbers from the past five seasons it was no surprise to see Hughes a knockout winner when it comes to being the NRL’s running man complete with line breaks and tackle busts.

In 2021 at the storm the only games Nicho lost was when Hughes was 7.

This really isn't close. GO NICHO GO

so included 1 entire season of Beanz at fullback. MAkes the metres even worse.

Read in the podcast thread that Ramien is in doubt for this week. I can't listen to the podcast at the moment, but whats the news? Is he injured and in serious doubt, or was it more a discussion about resting him if he is not 100%?

Last week v Manly was probably one of the most successful executions of the Fitz game plan in his 3 years so far (for the first 60 minutes anyway).

Playing fast with the forwards linking with 2 passes right at the line really worked the Manly defence over. Although we got lucky sometimes - there were some really risky second passes thrown that the second forward did well to hang onto (and some borderline hospital passes).

HOWEVER ... I'm worried how this game plan will go v the Purple Cheating Scum.
For starters their defence will not give us the same latitude, those 2 pass plays will not be as effective & will end up with more errors (which the Storm thrive on).

Secondly the usual Bellamy dark arts & wrestle will slow down our play the balls (though of course Sutton will ping us with more 6 agains than them, you just know it).

Lastly with rain forecast, I reckon the Fitz game plan will struggle more than theirs because it's higher risk with all the passing at the line.

Fingers crossed it holds up !

I Sincerely hope you are Wrong . I think some of your concerns will be addressed . Dont know if Storm will successfully address Sharkies Game planS,..... and enthusiasm.

Nrl.com has Hynes running over 6000 for just 22/23 as our halfback and in both those seasons he out ran Hughes. Fox Sports lab must watch different games

I agree mate. He has won a premiership, dally m, played for nsw and aus. Nicho is our guy!

won a premiership without playing one second of game time. The ball boys deserve the ring more than him

i don’t think the nrl even count him as winning in their record books they just put down storm as using 16players

Since your pathetic club last won a Premiership, Nicho Hynes’ mum and dad met, f**ked, created Nicho himself, he went through his child hood, teenage years, learned to play footy, came through the grades, made the NRL and was part of a grand final winning side on the day. He’s still got more to show in his lifetime +10 years than your club does. Pipe down loser.
