hard to beat the Storm in Melbourne penalty count ...they lay all over us & get away with it the second half the Refs love Smith... Slater penalty was BS but KE penalty resulted in a try to them & another just after 2 trys conceded on the 5th tackle is what beat us but a great effort if we get to the GF the refs will bot favour the storm like they do in melbourne

I didnt like the Slater penatly for 2 points. As soon as Alvaro come in he purposely drops ball. Its a penslty yeah but he milked it. If slater gets up and plays normally refs dont blow it.
They come in a few times on our guys and slowed it up. One tackle on Semi and gould or sterlo go wow he didnt get off him, It was 5 seconds. If semi just drops ball he gets penalty for not getting off him.
Thats the part of the game I didnt like. But they know it works. So why not keep doing it. You could see Gould getting shits as he knows thats how they win games. Hear him chirp and here comes Cam smith for a chat again.

The two passes for tries didnt go our way. But they where 50/50. and hard to call.
It is the laying on players that I find annoying. Turning them backwards. Getting arms stuck between legs, And I saw Cam stick his hand up players arse atleast 2 or 3 times just to slow it up.....

We definitely got the short end of the stick in terms of reffing decisions, and with a bit of luck we would have won .Having said that the Storm had 13 offloads to our 1, twice the number of line of breaks and missed a lot fewer tackles. Take a breath and beat the Cows/Sharks.

Look, I understand that maybe I can come across a certain way. I think it's the way I type. But I think I've demonstrated over the years that I'm actually not that way, I talk as much shit as anyone and often aimed at myself ffs.

It irks me when having an opinion different to the masses gets you attacked and it happens far too often on here, particularly from some of the ones who I apparently offended by simply saying that blaming the refs is a cop out. Funnily enough the crankiest character in hiney was the one who actually played the point and not the man. Whenever we lose it's "the refs this" and "John grant that" and "forward pack this" and so on and disagreeing is a sure fire way to have some gronk come out and attack you.

And yeah, I'm well known for occasionally going 0-100 but you know what, I'd rather blow up than harbour a deep slow loathing for existence over online trivialities like someone on here....
