I don't think people are saying that the decisions are premeditated or that the refs are corrupt in the usual sense of the word. What I think most are saying is that they go into a game 'knowing' what to expect, and that means they're more likely to see it. And being corrupt doesn't necessarily mean you're on the take or that you are deliberately not reffing fairly, it can also mean that you are not doing the job as well as it could be done. They're human and they're subject to pressure and sometimes that has a very real effect on results of games. And being as objective as I can I believe this was one of those games

Bellamy alluded to it after the game too, what the f**k would everyone have done with the upset? Of course he was having a go at his team for almost giving up the win but what would fox have wanked about for the 40 minutes they did if we'd won????

The refs have to feel that pressure, the lead up to it, the day and then the game.......the problem is that the NRL accept it so it keeps happening.
