They can only do so if they rule that it was not a pass.

I'm not sure that checking it would have helped, as the bunker cant rule on a forward pass. I guess if it's an offside touch that might be different.

It is a tradition in the NRL for the referees boss to cover his employees arses ... even if we go with archers cover story, which i believ is complete horseshit cronk touched it first and glasby took it out of his hands, we are meant to believe such an incident would not have even sparked interest from the refs to want the bunker to take a look?
