He should fair a lot better on the wing than in the centres defensively. His biggest problem in the centres is that he's too indecisive and gets found out. On the wing, Hodges will be making the calls for him and he just has to follow along.

As long as he doesn't have to deal with a run-away Ryan Hoffman or some big bludger, he should be OK.

Yeah GI is too lazy to stay switched on for 80 minutes. Whether our playmakers are good enough to recognise and take advantage of this is another question but I have no doubt Inglis at FB will give us chances to catch him out.

That being said there is really no other option, he is the most damaging player in the game when he is playing well and playing in his preferred position will go a long way toward getting him playing well.

I don't think it is a good idea, but I believe it is harder to switch allegiances between the big 3 countries.

Only concern with Dane is that his work from dummy half can be poor but beggars can't be choosers and he strikes me as the type of player who lifts in the big pressure moments.

It can be poor, but it can also be very good. The guy is a great tackle breaker and is in career best form at the moment. He's really starting to look like the player that everyone expected him to be. It's actually remarkable how well he's played with such large amounts of rubbish going on around him this year.

Doesn't like to put his body on the line much in D... but as you say I feel like he's the kind of guy to lift for big games and moments. He definitely wouldn't be Merritt-esque or anything at Origin level. I'd be pumped for Dane if he got a run this year, he's really put in the hard yards and deserves a crack. He's one of the few legitimate class players we have at the Knights... and I'm spewing that we've taken him out of fullback to accomodate Kaptain Kurt be honest.
