Christ you Qld'ers have a lot to answer for....
Apart from being spat on all night by the feral Qld dirty old men behind us who couldn't talk without frothing at the mouth, here are some memorable comments that make me glad I live in Sydney even if we have lost 4 in a row.
1. Qlder: "Peter Wallace is a Qld'er and should play for Qld not NSW".
Helen: "PW was born near Penrith in Western Sydney"
Qlder: "Yeah but he plays for the Bronco's so he is now a Qlder"
Helen: "You're an idiot"
2. Qlder: "NSW are capitsulating"
Helen: "There is no 's' in that word"
Qlder (in sarcastic voice): "The word means falling into a heap of sh*t just so you know"
Helen: "There is still no 's' in that word"
3. Qlder: "Greg Inglis is the best Qlder on ground"
Helen: "He was born and bred in Bowraville NSW, he's a cheat"
Qlder: "Yeah but he's a Qlder born"
4. Qlder: "Peter Wallace is terrible at kicking goals"
Helen: "Kurt Gidly is the NSW kicker"
Qlder: "Yeah but PW has missed 2 from 3"
5. Qlder: "The Qlder's are the tallest players ever, they tower over the NSW players, thats because they have fallen into the sh*t where NSW capitsulated"
Helen: "There is still no 's' in that word you dumbarse"
So my Qld supporting friends, every year I get annoyed that NSW are not up to scratch, and then every year I thank Christ that I don't live in Qld....
