Are you happy that the season is over?

For me, I know that the Tigs have had many, many sh*t seasons. But, after the last game, I'd normally miss them. I'd still want to see my beloved team play.

This season is different. For the first time, Im HAPPY that I won't see their asses for another six months.

Very happy to see the end of Parra.

I'm happy I don't have to put up with watching an Elliot coached side for atleast another six months. I'm still hoping I won't ever have to see one, but not so optimistic after rumours were strongly denied.

I'm disappointed with not seeing the Knights in the 8. I feel we had a real shot to go close from 8th. The teams in the 8 will be breathing a sigh of releif that they will have to face the Warriors and not us.

Maybe on a dry track.... if it rains again I reckon the Warriors are the last team anyone wants to play. Best wet-weather side in the NRL.

I'm mega pissed off. It would have taken a miracle for the Knights to win the comp, but they sure as hell deserved to be there in the top 8, total and utter egg on the face of those who tipped the team for the spoon and had the knives out for Brian Smith.

Newcastle deserved to make the 8 and I would have liked to have seen them have a crack at Melbourne or Manly. But I'm not really concerned that they missed out. I just hope the Warriors or Canberra cause an upset next week so there's at least one side to cheer for amidst all the f**kwit sides in the top six (one of which will be gone if there is an upset). I'll be happy enough if the Warriors, Raiders or Broncos win the comp and of the rest I'd prefer to see the Storm win over the Sydney clubs.

Knights would've been deserving based on form over the year and competitiveness in games on a consistent basis. But the Warriors deserve a little more respect than people here are giving them. They did actually beat the Knights twice (obviously decisive in the final washup) and they've won 8 from their last 10 games including home wins v Storm, Broncos and Cronulla. Ultimately they've won an extra game than the Knights have and that's what counts. Knights can feel proud of 9th place and next year they should make the 8 and maybe even the top 4.

This season has been sh@#t from start to finish. Next year isn't looking any better!

2005 gave fans a taste for wining that was unfounded!

I've been looking forward to 09 for some months now.

A fit Bowen, Henry and Billy returning and some strengthening of the forwards through some nice recruiting are all positives. This season has been poo, there are still so many defensive deficiencies that need to be sorted out.

Kudos to all the folk who show up week in week in to support knowing there wasn't much chance of a win most times. Wish I could have been there for the times we saw success.

No actually I'm devastated.

Watching the pathetic Eels tonight not even look interested in restoring some pride was just depressing - and I'm a Knights fan.

So Newcastle won against Melbourne by 1 point and suddenly the rest of the 8 is sh*tting themselves?
I don't think so.

Knights are dangerous but that's a bit rude thinking the Warriors will be an easier conquest.
No offence but I'd much rather play the Knights than the Warriors.

And you're going to look like a bit of a fool if the Warriors go deep into the finals, which I expect.

Oh and on topic I'm glad it's the off season,Millward can finally f**k off to Canberra and Cows can start cleaning up the mess!
