Hi everybody,
I am a fan of all professional sport in Australia (except AFL, gotta hate it when they try and shove their piece of crap game down your throat)
I grew up playing League in townsville, before moving to brisbane last year.
anyway living in Brisbane this year, one team caught my attention with the new rules in Rugby Union, the Reds.
So I am wondering, coming to a Rugby League forum, if some people that aren't neccessarily union fans so to think, but know something about rugby could answer some of these questions:
1. Do you think the new rule changes around the ruck enticed a much more interesting set of games in 2010 if you saw any.
2. Do you believe the wallabies are a chance at winning the bledisloe cup or Tri Nations in 2011.
3. Do you think the Wallabies are a good chance of winning the Rugby World Cup in 2011.
4. Do you rather support AFL or Rugby Union
5. Do you believe rugby union supporters are either i) arrogant or ii) conservative
6. Do you agree that if the scrum rules in rugby union are fixed then the game will have no more problems
7. If you attended any rugby union games this year, where you entertained?
8. If you watched any of the Queensland Reds games this year, did you rate them in terms of entertainment in regards to price?
9. Do you believe Rugby union is on a good tangent
10. Would you watch the All Blacks vs. The Wallabies at suncorp stadium next year if they beat new zealand at eden park a few weeks earlier, in other words the Tri Nations Finale
11. Any other thoughts about rugby union.
Don't answer them all if you don't want to / can't be bothered.
I'm just interested to see what the league community perceives union to be.
Thanks guys, and long live all professional sport bar AFL.
I would've posted this in the "Rugby Union" section but i feared that only union supporters would read it.
Thankyou for your input in advance.
