Mmm Cake, LPT, LKT and Sloan all named for Cup who play before the NRL game. So, you'd think Sele replaces Cake, leaving only Faegai as 18th player. I guess 1 of the above will only play half a game in Cup and be added to the squad late as 19th man, probably LKT imo.

Thank the footy gods somebody else said it... l was thinking l had logged onto another team's site. We give both a semi-finalist from last year and a grand finalist decent games of footy in the first two rounds (anyone at the game would know we were more than competitive for 3/4s of the Storm game) and the fans are howling... well that's the view of JeffDragon, RedVDragon21 & JohnMoz... who are better at death riding the Mighty Red V than they are supporting them (and not just on this post). It pisses me off no end that these clowns incorporate the history of the Dragons in their nicks and then spend ALL of their time regurgitating rubbish about our club... Maestro said it well... there's the f'ing door... This site is for the Supporters of our Great Club. Sure there is room for improvement but that's what sport is about.
There is nothing wrong with a bit of criticism.......but every fxcking post.

It’s his roster, it’s his selections and it’s his tactics so he’s not unlucky he’s just a product of a bygone era still thinking that his methodology is still a match winning formula despite it being a whole new era requiring vastly different things to those things he steadfastly holds onto.

Not surprisingly is our atrocious record under Kasey Badger and Belinda Sharpe.
Amazingly (lol) those win / loss records (roughly 4 years worth there) are on a par with many of our coaches records, none of them got close to 50% either.

I would be interested to see those stats as a comparison alongside the same stats for Storm, Penrith, Roosters, Parramatta & Tigpies.

Your right John Moz, the only concern I have with Reed is our front row has Guler Kerr and Laurie that pathetic. Toby Couchman and Sele cannot not do it alone.
Also why can't Leilua play front row instead of Guler, Guler has been disappointing. Has to be the worst front rower in the comp.

At this point in time our club is anything but great in fact it is the very opposite of great and therefore is deserving of criticism for the consistent shit show it trots out each year.

Criticism doesn’t necessarily mean you don’t support the club. For some it means we know we can do better but for some inexplicable strange reason we continue to use a proven losing strategy.

Our coach compounds it by making stupid statements in the press and promising things he doesn’t deliver on.

Some supporters compound that by constantly saying it’s just a matter of time until we come good and touting the few small good things we do as almost season changing. But ignoring the consistency of the bog averageness of so many of the players the coach had brought to the club and the below average performances we dish out due to that plus poor game plans and management. All reasonable KPI’s for a coach I would have thought

Some supporters then imply that SF is just unlucky to lose by so many small margins especially with such a bad roster and then suggest those that those that criticise the bleeding obvious should follow another team.

It’s his roster, it’s his selections and it’s his tactics so he’s not unlucky he’s just a product of a bygone era still thinking that his methodology is still a match winning formula despite it being a whole new era requiring vastly different things to those things he steadfastly holds onto.
I repeat again that our supporters are seen as anything but true supporters within the game. We used to have our Army stand under a sign of "True Believers". Can you imagine how big that sign would need to be now... True Believers except if the coach has a son in the team; or if we lose a game in extra time... and it must be bad coaching and game plans if our players drop a ball or miss a tackle.
Imagine how much we could bag off Ezra Mamm if he played for us... or kick Mitch Barnett because he is slow and doesn't have a passing game.
My point is.... this is the team we were born to follow (most likely)... and yes it hurts deeply when we lose. That is the price one must pay to claim they have passion. But just like you have some right to constantly go on and on about the short falls of our club; l too have a right to voice what true supporters would view about a cancer trying to eat away at the club's passion - that - we are jack of listening to the constant public hammering of our club from people under the cloak of being supporters of our club. If you really have something constructive to add get down to training and run it past the boys... or head to the administrative offices to lead the revival - because actions speak louder than constant criticism... I clearly have a different view to you... and enjoy calling myself a Dragon and yes I look for the good in our team.

So you accept mediocrity I see. You’re calling me a clown because I called this team out. What has this club achieved since 2010? I didn’t know we were handing out participation awards now.. at the end of the day it’s a results driven business. But you’re happy like most others
Not once have I ever called someone else's comments and views and then insulted them.
Good or bad.
Obviously the forum is changing.

They must not of threads ftom years gone by.

When and if they start winning consistently i be first to say this congratulations.

As I said in previous post... if your so UNHAPPY... f- off. I don't accept mediocrity... in life or in sport. But l am in control of things that l can change. Standing up for all the true Dragon Supporters is what l am doing at the moment. It is almost like bagging our team by "our own" has become the main objective of our supporter base. If you can't find ANY good in the performances of our team since 2010 then l don't think you will be missed to be honest. For me.... until last season we had won more comps then Brisbane with a much reduced "REAL" salary cap !!!
As l said - don't let the door hit you on the way out

Not surprisingly is our atrocious record under Kasey Badger and Belinda Sharpe.
I reckon you have to compare these to our actual win-loss record for a fair analysis. Over the last 4 years, we have been so poor we have only won 36 games out of 96 (37.5%). Based on that, we've done a bit better when Atkins, Gee or Gough have been reffing. Most of the rest are "on par" as it were. Sutton, Badger and Sharpe are a problem. During the last 4 years, Roosters have won 57/96 games (59%) so it looks like Ashley Klein is their bogey ref.

Badger and Sharpes percentages should improve sharply for us now while Parra's win rate under them should drop. Pity one of them wasn't reffing this weekend.
