Maybe he should pull his finger out and perform then?

Because he isn't standing out in NSW Cup either tbh.
Haven't seem him play NSW cup, but they are not going that well with him in it.

I can't help think that ET was great for us at a point in time, when quality was in short supply and people like Ciraldo and Newton were on the team. His status as a marquee player was a reflection of where we were. Now we have a number of players with a high workrate and in my view they offer more than just a high tackle count. Would he be a marquee player now? Is there any team in the NRL where he would be seen as a marquee player? Maybe the Knights?

He is a good player in the right team. He would be a good player for us if he would take a pay cut.

our only chance this week other than if we step up is that cronulla have won 4 in a row and may be due for an off game. reckon if we match their forwards we will end up losing due to our inability to convert possession to points.

Cows are a better side than the Sharkies and we went with them only 2 weeks ago. Obviously not favourites but we are in this.

I'd keep Blake over Hiku. better defence wins out for mine. Our defence is very soft and i think upgrading a defensive liability would make our team better overall.

But it won't be that simple. Hiku was a marquee signing and there's no way he loses a spot in the side. Blake will only ever be a backup no matter how good he gets. Unless Moylan moves to halves there's just zero chance for him in our backline.

Money talks and bull$hit walks

Hiku has been your best back so far. A little quiet the last 2 games. Blake has hands like feet and not a polished as Hiku.
Stop over rating juniors! Blake may become a fine player but he is not there yet.

Have you watched a game? Mr hands like feet has only made one error this season. Deadset people comcerned about his ball handling are judging Blake of 2015 form and Hiku on tries scored only. Hiku has made 3 times as many errors... although even 3 errors so far is fine. An average of less than 1 per game is pretty good for a back.

The main difference in attack is Hiku actually gets the ball. Defensively Soward and Hiku are probably the worst combination we could ask for. Not sure Hiku and Cartwright on the same side would be any better though.

Hiku is a solid centre with poor defence. Really not nearly as good as he should be for an international or what we are paying for him.

Also Josh Mansour has been our best back by miles... with Moylan and DWZ being great the past few weeks too. Our back 3 shit on our centres with ease. Whare would change that. He's quality in attack and defence. His wingers really shine with him.
