What is with the pause from Waddell on every single f**king play the ball? It's like he can't pass the ball without pumping back an absurd amount after he's picked it up. It's infuriating and serves no purpose.

Bedsy won't make that much of a difference. His old legs can only go for so long. We need Clydesdale to get a decent crack

You nailed it Pers... How do we give away so many penalties week in week out? If we only give half as many penalties away, we'll only concede half the points and win most of our games.

The game's just finished but a couple of things:

1. I like all the players on the team bar Waddell.. He isn't a terrible player but I think if we gonna go anywhere in this competition we need a solid hooker and it really showed today. The positives Luke brought to the Souths... Travis lost the ball at the end, slow service.. Then again he is our 4th choice I guess...

2. Sutton should have gotten into the NSW team over Josh Ryenolds...

3. Korbin has a big future ahead of him. He didn't play as well as GBurgess but he stood up to him in every tackle.

4. JSmith is a godsend. His tackles in the middle, the hard runs he takes, the pressure he puts on the opposition kickers.

5. Our depth is amazing. When we have our full team, we're gonna have guys like Kev, Mantellato, Tahu, Costigan, many more in the reserves.

Terrible feeling when we lose but good effort I though overall...

In these conditions we really could've used Aku tonight, for his kick returns and dummy half runs. Josh was good, but still a few things he needs to learn.

I think I should get this Premiers 2013 out of my mind now. Lets just keep getting more consistent each year, then we'll eventually get there.

When you see guys like Kev and Josh mantellato step in and get the job done you really have to wonder how wise it was to pay Aku $500k a year.

Cuthbo on Sutton and Fa'alogo on George Burgess were bad, bad misses.
And all those penalties from the 20th-40th minute.

I thought we missed Akus ball running a lot, actually. Mantellato had a good debut, don't get me wrong... but pretty ineffective in the hitup department. Aku would have scored the try he scored no worries, but been a threat in other areas. We didn't really see any of Mantellato's aerial prowess.

... and yeah, I think any hooker that can pass a ball off the f**king ground will help us quitre some, be it Clydesdale or Bedsy.

Kev was very good. Really wish he wasn't leaving.

Mantellato was solid, but needs to get some meat on his frame. He got dominated just about every time he took the ball up

I just watched his highlights from Origin 2 in 05 on YT. It's not a wonder the Blues and the Knights haven't had any success since he retired.

Kev has been excellent in 1st grade every time he's been given a go, Aku is a better overall player but he's not 5 times better.......
