It was good to see Uate back to scoring some Uate tries today at least.

Perhaps that's another area where not having a wrestling coach is hindering us. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe that the wrestle starts on the first second and third contacts in a tackle. Players know where they need to position themselves in order to begin the wrestle, we don't have that.

One of the main aspects of the wrestle is wrapping, but because Wayne doesn't believe in wrestling.......

Holy shit, we completed 33/36 sets today and still found a way to lose. That's quite incredible.

I'm beating a dead horse but is it really incredible anymore? This perfectly reflects everything that is wrong with our tactical approach and has been all season. I think that's our 4th loss with a completion rate over 80%. But it's hardly a statistical quirk, it's the fact that as usual we tried to bore a team into submission and failed.

We had an attacking set in the 59th minute and we took 5 hitups - our halves, fullback, centres and wingers basically didn't touch the ball. Tactically we are an absolute joke and we're getting closer and closer to playing Wayne's "perfect match" with a 100% completion rate and still lose.

I'm just so over it. It's dull, it's ineffective and it's completely out of touch with the modern game. You have to play football to win football games. It stuns me Wayne doesn't see that.

What stuns me even more is Wayne expects us grind other teams down despite losing the wrestle and the ruck every week

Uate could once again be lethal if he gets switched permanently outside of BJ. Will be getting a lot more quality ball playing on that side of the field.

I keep finding myself yelling out "Try something different other than this one-up rubbish" and then laughing, remember what team I'm talking about...

The sad thing is that players are often going to the line and looking to offload the ball, but there is never the player in support there. Happened two or three times today where Rochow, Smith and Scott could have created something if they weren't left alone.

Yep. Found myself screaming "where's the f**king support" way too many times today.

We're such a negative team it's not even funny

Well that was worth staying up for.

Like the rest of you, I'm really over this bullshit of not playing footy. We can't just wait for opponents to make mistakes and take advantage of them, all teams are too well disciplined to make those crucial errors we just wait for.

Gidley has done it for me now. I want him to come good because he does put the effort in, but he's just too much of a hindrance for us to keep with him. Off to England mate.

I am actually not even wanting to watch our games anymore if I have work or have anything else on. I usually go to the effort of recording and avoiding the results if that happens but what's the point. If I hear we lose, yeah ok I expected it. But the way we lost today, after giving me hope, just shits me to tears.

The boys put the effort in but the luck needed to win games we have none of. It will be interesting to see what WESTS Group and the next board decide to do player and coach wise now because I doubt they will be paying the money Tinkler was for results like that. It is a tough one. Hard loss to swallow given we set it up nicely at half time.

It's the same story every week, we are right in it at half time but go on to lose. When you're 2 from 12 luck doesn't come into it anymore, the cold hard truth is we suck. A few players need to be put to pasture, I don't have to mention them because we all agree on who they are but the coach has most to answer for, every week he keeps the same team sheet same game plan same approach and hopes what didn't work the last 10 weeks will work next week, it's just illogical

I don't see him being soft mate, it's his decision making that is letting him down

I'm usually calling for Aku's head each week due to his woeful defence but Dane has out done him with his piss poor decisions the past few weeks. He was atrocious yesterday.

If ther is any truth to come out of yesterday it is Akuila is a left winger. Makes perfect sense. His issues in defence are left to right. He was far more comfortable in defence yesterday having the centre on his right shoulder. It was also obvious the Tigers targeted our right defence despite the McManus switch. I feel Gagai is the reason.

Wonder if it's worth putting Gagai on the wing and McManus in the centre? I feel Gagai's attack has a lot of promise, he has the feet and could easily be one of those blokes who makes the most of such limited space. My only concern would be under the high ball. What Jimmy does better than anyone is getting to the ground and starting the set in excellent position, not sure if Gagai could replicate that. That said though, that's obviously something he could adopt through experience in the spot.
