Beaten by Dugan mostly.
We were ok but needed Boyd to play like Dugan. Boyd was way too much MIA.
Roberts kick and pass was way off mark.
A few bad calls against us. Fwds looked a little tired at times. Good game by Mullen in defense.
Scott will get time off for that tackle which will leave us short. Hope Cuthbo is back next game.

Bennett keeps insisting on this bullshit grinding style and honestly we just can't play that way, too many unforced errors, dumb penalties, etc

f**k you Josh Dugan! Go have a Cruizer!

Gotta feel for Jimmy Mac. He'll be hurting tonight.

It's barely even football. It's just tackling and kicking and hoping.

It barely resembled rugby league. No enterprise, one dimensional attack, and piss-weak defense.

Mate, the refereeing had nothing to do with it. Inept, gutless, directionless performance from a team that has been turning them in most of the season.

We couldn't get any momentum. You can't win games without momentum. The fact is, they were holding us down for far too long and deserved to be penalized while we got pulled up for some absolutely soft crap.

I don't disagree it was a directionless performance, it was incredibly hard to watch because we done absolutely nothing with the ball. Mullo did his best, but the rest of the team was hopeless and just not motivated. I hate to say it, but Gidley brings structure. You watch our games where he plays, and we're well organised. I would have killed to have him in our side. It also didn't help to see Darius playing a slow game but that was understandable.

However, I still believe the refereeing was appalling once again.

What's your definition of bad? I don't see how we were ok. Putting individual efforts like Mullen aside, what did we that deserved a pass mark?

We don't even know what to do with momentum. Is that you, Wayne?

Waddell needs to go, clydesdale can play 80 minutes. Let him play his natural game because he gives us another kicking option. It is now time to bring in Toka Likiliki. House needs to go. Boyd needs to be given a rocket.. Wayne needs to say whatever he said to snowden 6 weeks ago to Boyd.

This is f***ing shit. I'm over it. Play some footy guys. Throw the ball around. See if Wayne prefers a mistake free loss or a mistake filled win.

I cannot tell you how not only heartbreaking, but FRUSTRATING tonight's loss is. I felt like throwing something at the tv when Dugan went over, as then and there I knew we were gone.

Reminded me a lot of our home match vs Warriors in 2005 (which we should've won and would've never lead to that infamous 13 game losing streak), where we also lost after leading, courtesy from a late try after knocking on from an attempted field goal from the Warriors, which gave the Warriors another chance in our own half.

5 losses in last 6 games. What is frustrating is that we have led in every one of those 5 matches (8-0 vs Sharks, 14-0 vs Raiders, 12-10 vs Warriors, 12-0 vs Souffs and 8-0 tonight). Dunno what it is and why we keep conceeding those leads but I REALLY hope they don't come back to haunt us at the end of Rd 26 when it comes to reasons why we just missed the top 8. Bennett now finds himself in a very unfamiliar situation in his coaching career. Extremely tough game down in Melbourne next week, another team we have an atrocious record against.

yes, I know the referees were inconsistent with keeping the 10m tonight, but that is no excuse. The errors in possession when we were in the Dragons half, especially from Waddell and Houston, were coach killers. The knock-on from McManus (who had a very good game) sealed the deal, and was simply the culmination of our unstructured style of play in the 2nd half.

It's time to get rid of Waddell, I agree. He's had enough chances to prove his worth and hasn't impressed me one bit from the moment he landed at our club. Slow, lethargic, and too many errors have been killing us in the hooking department. Playing a 35-year old Gower isn't going to do any harm to us in the short-term (which is what he's here for, given his age) and I would be more than happy to fast-track him into the side ASAP. I have fond memories of his playing days in Penrith during his peak nearly 10 years ago and I'll be very pleased if he can show even half of what he did back then.

Both Smith and Faalongo missed tackles to let in tries for the second week in a row which has cost us the game.

Bennett has a lot to answer for. He won premierships when he had mostly representative players. Even i could have won the premiership for the Broncos when all 17 players were Australian or Origin players.

He is playing a one out style of football that went out years ago and if you don't have the cattle, you will lose more games than you win.

The sooner we get an organising half the better so that we start to put questions to the defence across both the middle and the edges. We have a great backline that is not being utilised and we need an organiser to get this going.

You can have too many old players in the team and Smith and Faalongo showed that for the last 2 weeks that the speed of the game catches up and you will get found out

Anyway the style of play we play under Bennett will show we will have September off.

If I was, I'd be saving you and the rest of the fans the pain of watching my style of football

But really, when Clydsdale, who if he doesn't start next week I'll be flipping tables, forced the repeat set, it led to a try. A little sloppy, but a try nonetheless. We had momentum there and we pulled it off. I can't recall another moment from the game where we had it.

Jeez you lot make it sound like we're f**king Parramatta.

Not that bloody bad. Lost in the dying minutes because of an extremely rare error. Minus Aku, Gids and Bedsy. Boyd backing up, Scott returning from injury and Houston in the starting side.

Got some super dud decisions from the referee as well.

In the context of the game, that was the only MAJOR refereeing faux pas tonight. Although I'm not blaming that for costing us the game (our errors is what killed us across the 80 minutes), I was scratching my head at the time as to where this "mystery" touch came from that led to the tackle restart.
