Toka has good runs, but if his general fitness and defence is anything like I saw on the weekend then he's still a ways away from first grade - I don't see how he could handle it at this stage. Tets could get a run soon, but I think he's been injured much of the year? Probably still working on match fitness.
I don't think either of them at all address our actual problems, either.
Manly and The Bunnies not being cautious with Cherry-Evans and Reynolds is also apples and oranges. They both play in the halves, for starters... and Reynolds is 23 yesterday, so 3 years older than Clydesdale.
Regardless, every player is somewhat different. Some take to first grade like they were born there and never advance past mediocre... some struggle when they hit first grade and go on to much bigger things... somewhat rarely (imo) will one look like a world beater from day 1 and continue to be one the rest of his career. Need to handle every player on their own merits. I'd be giving clydesdale more and more time every game to see how he handles it, and if there's no problems throw him the job next year.
