It’s going to be a tough path back for Sloan from here. I expect that (and hope) Lawson continues to get better and still not sure how high his ceiling of potential is. And I expect CT will continue to provide strong runs out of defence and strong finishing.
I think his ceiling is rep calibre high.

Played 9 games of League in his life.

A naturally gifted footballer.

We still have Sloan another 2 years. Hes one injury to Gutho away from being back. Really needs to have some solid consistent games in cup, his best and worst are very far apart. He does things like against Manly chasing kicks and belting the FB, then has abysmal games like against tigers at magic round, he pretty much let in 2 tries with no effort. It’s very inconsistent.

If Sloan wants to see what it takes regarding effort and application he should watch the South's game last weekend. I'm not generally a Latrell Mitchell fan but his effort in defence and attack almost single handedly won the game for Souffs.

PIA - my so called updated new posts has "Finau Latu's Move to Canterbury Bulldogs" as the thread with the most recent post.

Had to do multiple "Thread Name" searches to find R14 Dolphins
Even now the thread never appears on my 'recent' list

I'm sure there are other discussions I have no idea about.

It would be nice if someone would notify us that the issue has been recognised and they were trying to fix it.

But - To be fair, I wouldn't see the post!
Yep that’s exactly everything that’s happening for me.
since Ive never had to search feeds took me a while to figure out how to.

yes let’s hope it gets fixed 🤞

Sloan has no great intensity about him in either attack or defence.

He is opportunistic and even then he misses or cocks up plenty of those moments.

As is the case with many tear away speed merchants in junior footy their try scoring ability overshadows their liabilities and there comes a time when the liabilities are just no longer acceptable and in fact are somewhat embarrassing to watch.

Some coaches work that out earlier than others.

A bit like comparing a Porsche to a Dodge Ram. Porsche fast but fragile in a crash, Ram once up to speed momentum destructive. Pluses and minuses.
Unfortunately majority of the real speedsters don't make the grade.

I like Tyrell but I understand the call. His numbers have not been great but I feel the failure to simply put the ball down for a try on the weekend may have broken the camel's back. If a winger has one job... surely that is it.

Tough game this week, but huge reward if we win it. The Dolphins are in that big peloton with us fighting for spots in the bottom 8. We need to win these ones. Plus 3 in a row would be swell

Latrell with his annual origin season run of form (effort) to ensure selection...

Include Sloan in a trade with another club for an alpha prop or halfback like Katoa. Christian Wolf knows how good Sloan is.

The difference is, Mitchell isn’t afraid to put his body on the line. Sloan too small and too scared to take a hit

If we leak points on Sloan's side, that should confirm that he is not the only problem on that side. I would like to see Feagai given a crack in the centres in place of Suli and eventually see Lawson develop into a centre and take that spot permanently.

Herbie Farnworth will have a picnic on that side if he is on Suli's side. Herbie is on fire at the moment.

This Suli thing of yours is weird. He had 100% tackle efficiency v Newcastle.

Dude... Matt Feagai? Aside from the fact he's out injured until round 20 it's a strange choice

I really hope I am proven wrong and he scores a hatrick and belts Herbie or Averillo. It will be a big test for him this week.

I was not aware Feagai was injured. I should have checked. That means Saints are quite thin in the centres spots so it makes sense why he is retained. Apart from Feagai there is only Allan and I think he is injured.

Go the Saints. Big 2 weeks for the boys.

Copped the bad leg and ankle injury vs Manly. Maybe back towards the run in for the semis
