I said the same thing in all seriousness earlier in the year. Both times he was coach it was just handed to him. If he had any great ambition to be a first grade coach he would have gone and got a position elsewhere when Bennett signed on for 4 years - he could have got one in the ESL easily. But no, he was happy to sit back and coach reserve grade. I don't buy into the Newcastle loyalty thing. If he really wanted to be a proper FG coach he would have gone wherever to get himself a position to do that.

How can we honestly expect the players to have ambition and work hard when the coach doesn't seem to?
