It's really good to have Mullen back. I think he was the difference. I can't say that the defence was any better because the Titans were a complete mess.

Hopefully Gags is alright.

Shit start which is concerning but hopefully a win like that gives them some confidence. This side on paper really shouldn't be looking at the spoon. Second half was a bit of a let down but with only two on the bench it's somewhat understandable.

Not getting a head of myself but last is easily avoidable if they keep showing up like they did tonight. Mullen was tremendous, very happy with Snowden's performance. We missed Vaivai and Mataora up the middle though. Houston and Newton had some nice hit ups but we would have gotten more out of the youngsters.

Snowden is very lucky we were playing the Titans and not a half decent team tonight. That's two weeks in a row where his initial contribution to the game has been to give away 2-3 penalties. If the Titans actually went for a try and not settled for the 2 points anything could have happened- wouldn't have put it past Newcastle to have conceded and then put their heads down the rest of the game.

Terrible news for Dane.
He relocated his whole family to Newcastle just this week as well.

In regards to Gags it is most likely Ventricular tachy or SVT. They will only cardiovert if his blood is thin enough. Cardio version can cause embolic stroke. A young fit kid like him should go back into regular rhythm on his own steam. The problem is though he may need some time off.

this can retire him if serious enough. Absolute worst case scenario only though.

I'm thinking Tariq on the left and Tapine on the right

Haven't forgotten we have still got to get Chow back yet?😉

Got to admit I still like what Smith brings to this team - he is certainly at the back end of his career but he is a pro that always looks to hit and run to hurt...a lot of the younger brigade could do worse than emulate how he plays the game.

Just on a side issue geez I enjoyed the effort and show the defence force band tried to put on tonight🎉 considering the weather, they made my night👏, sometimes you dont need to spend a lot to put on a good show...well I enjoyed them anyway😊

I like the idea of Stockwell having a big offseason and bulking up a touch and establishing himself as Snowden's starting front row partner.

If they find form that is a gun pack. Korbin's pace has surprised me. He has good leg speed. He was tremendous last night. Paea is in great form for Hull ATM too.

No way will/should Rochow not get a starting spot. He's been one of our most consistent player for the last 2 years.

I couldn't leave Rochow out of my starting pack. We need to identify Robbie's role and let him grow into because when fit I think he is one of our top 3 forwards, and certainly a potential captain. I like him on the edge, but T. Sims and in particular Tapine being more specialists, I'm leaning towards Rochow as a middle forward out of necessity. If that's the case, then we should really be developing him into that number 13.

9. Levi
10. K Sims

Levi has to be our starting hooker next season. His mobility. strength and energy are exceptional. As soon as he came on we started to look like we would put a score on. The kid can throw a pretty decent cutout pass from dummy half as well. The score last night flattered the titans. Had we been on song we would have hit 60.

I've been one of Rochows biggest supporters on here, but there is no way I could say that he played well last year. I'm pretty sure that he also said that he played poorly last year and this was as a result of Alex's injury as they were close friends. 2013 he played pretty well. In 2014 he was ordinary. This year he has missed most of the season. As a result I don't think he is entitled to a starting position.
