Maybe I’m biased, but what’s Leota done to deserve being dropped? Granted he made a silly error but other than that I thought he was good again. Gets us on the front foot more often than not.

I think I’d go;

1. Aekins
2. Crichton
5. Mansour
6. Luai or Maloney if fit
9. Katoa
14. Peach

I think the rest picks itself. If Maloney is fit, I’d still go Aekins at the back but In saying that if Luai goes to 1, I wouldn’t be disappointed at all.

I agree with that, other than that I would drop Chricton for Phillips. Chricton makes more metres but is more like a Mansour style winger. Phillips has more pace, and is building a bit of a combination with Blake and Kikau.

Maloney will be captain if he plays. Yeo didn't get in the ref's face when we were being shafted in the first half. Refs don't respect young captains. Merrin would have been a better choice but its a bit late now.

He certainly did in the walk to the dressing rooms at half time. Was all over Cecchin and rightly so.

It really doesn’t matter if Maloney is captain or not he is still going to be a leader.

From what I’ve seen from him he would probably rather not have the C.

Captaincy talk is a bit overrated in here. Maloney will still call the shots. Nothing will change whoever gets the C.

Aitkens at FB. Mansour in for Phillips. Both halves in for luai and May. Peachey in for Egan. That'll be it.

I'd like Luai in the 1. We haven't had a ball playing FB since Moylan early last year. Add in Maloney and Cleary and it will be a completely different team. Lots of points will come from that spine and tbh that's what will win us the premiership this year. I don't think we have the goal line D to match the other teams when it counts.

The question is whether Griffin would do that. Think we are too committed in this competition. It will be aitkens/dwz to round out the year at FB.

A 6,7,9 should be the captain unless the re is a player that is something special in terms of leadership. These are the guys organising the team and telling them what to do and in our case we have Maloney who has achieved just about everything.

I imagine we are going to be playing a fired up Broncos next week.

You’d also have to think there is a good chance Andrew McCullough doesn’t play (he should be suspended for at least one game for striking).

Should be able to dominate this one up front:

Broncos back-rower Jaydn Su'A left the field in the 45th minute of the loss to the Warriors with an ankle injury while fellow forward Joe Ofahengaue limped from the field at the end of the game as well.

Brisbane coach Wayne Bennett may switch Corey Oates from the wing to boost his back-row stocks for Friday's crucial clash with the Panthers at Suncorp Stadium.

We are all aware of your little mind games. It's the same every week.

The worst thing for us happened today. The Broncos had a shocker which will only make them twice as hard to beat next week.
Same every week? I've said the last 2 weeks would be tough. I just see no reason to fear Brisbane
