R19 vs Broncos

They aren't used to playing in daylight.

It definitely seemed that way.

We also seem to be a much better team at home at night (I haven’t checked the numbers but I have the general impression that the results of our day games haven’t been as a good as those of our night ones).

Should be able to dominate this one up front:

Broncos back-rower Jaydn Su'A left the field in the 45th minute of the loss to the Warriors with an ankle injury while fellow forward Joe Ofahengaue limped from the field at the end of the game as well.

Brisbane coach Wayne Bennett may switch Corey Oates from the wing to boost his back-row stocks for Friday's crucial clash with the Panthers at Suncorp Stadium.
Agreed our forwards should dominant their's. Broncos pack is not very big. Our biggest problem to overcome will be our own errors and the home ground advantage (penalty count).

For mine I'd be dropping Crichton over Phillips for the simple reason of 2 trys from 15 games v 4 trys from 9 games, hell even Gillard has scored 2 trys.
Both have bombed some pretty simple tries though. Neither is up to NRL standard at the moment.

I think Crichton will get there. Just not for us.

Phillips spent a few years at Bulldogs and could only get a handful of games despite them having a shit backline and the Morris boys being constantly injured.

Thank god we should have both Mansour and DWZ back soon. Hopefully pushing both out.my only fear is Hook putting Peach at centre and Blake on the wing.

They've shown their hand this year. Rookies will debut before positional changes. If Peachey has a spot it'll be the bench which Griffin likes for Peaches anyways.

Dwz shifted to fullback
Peachey shifted to 6

The rookies debuting are doing so due to the amount of injuries reducibg the amount of options we have

I think if Blake was going to wing we would have seen it this week. Earlier in the year Peachey went straight to the bench when we had Whare/Blake fit.

We werent missing Edwards and both Mansour and DWZ though. Our 17 is more depleted znd Hook could very well push Whare or Blake to the wing to have an extra rep player in the backline.

We havent had all 3 centres fit since our backline has been depleted.

Yeah true. I was also assuming guys like Lui and Aekin would have to fit as they've played the house down.

If we aim up through the middle we should win this, especially if Maloney is fit. If sauce is back I’d probs drop Crichton. I’d still like to see aekins get another go but Phillips seems a bit safer atm.

Kiks has been on a mission lately, I feel like he and Waqa are due to really destroy a team soon I think maloney and clearys experience might unleash that.
Maloney likes playing down the left so I coupd see them destroying teams together. Juicy.
