See what happens when you don't pick Ennis Bennett! We had nothing out of dummy half once Berrigan wasn't there. That is without mentioning the fact that our halves were poor. Perry aint a 6 and will never be one so what the f**k is he doing there. Puit Moon there, hell it may not work but we should at least try it!

1. Hodges
2. Micheals
3. tate
4. Berrigan
5. Boyd
6. Moon
7. Hunt

9. Ennis

Michael Witt had a very impressive game i thought. Can't stand him thanks to wittyfan, but he was really doing tsome good sh*t in attack. That little chip, then quick pass to setup a try was awesome.

Also got a try of his own, but it was a very soft try.

McKinnon and Witt seem to have been very good signings. McKinnon especially, goddamn if he isn't breaking 2 or 3 tackles every run he makes. Incredible stuff.

Brisbane were also far too patient with ball in hand and far too predictable, instead of offering anything in attack. What was needed was less one off the ruck bash and barge for the whole set and more variation. Possibly 2 hit ups, dummy half run from Berro quick play the ball out to Perry to Hunt to Hodges/Tate and then see how we'd go.

Instead we got, hit up Civo, dummy Berro, hit up Carlaw, hit up Hunt, hit up Thorn, straight kick down the throat of McKinnon, or so it seemed in the second half.

Moon isn't a centre btw and needs to be moved ASAP. Once Lockyer gets back, put Perry to halfback, Lockyer to five eigth Hunt to fullback and Hodges to centre, then we'd start looking good again.

had no kicking game. no kick chase. no creativity. no one putting their hands up to do the hard stuff.

Broncos fans thoughts on the jersey? Less navy than last year... almost black... barely identifies with the club anymore :?

In two games Carlaw has made a total of 139 metres. Webcke would've made more than that in one game alone. That's one of the big problems. You could smack Webcke as hard as you like and he'd be up in thirty seconds coming at you again. Once Carlaw gets hit once or twice he disappears. They'd have a better chance with Thorn in the front row, at least he makes over one hundred metres each week and doesn't hide from the hard stuff.

As for the Broncos kicking game, it reminded me alot of the Warriors in 2006 before Nathan Fien was moved from halfback. Non-stop midfield bombs with no other purpose than the blind hope that the fullback/winger might stuff up and give a repeat set of six. With the wind it might not have been the worst tactic if it wasn't for the fact 99% of the bombs were away from Vatuvei's wing.

R6 at this stage... they're likely to try and rush him back for the test no doubt

Awww and why is Tossah timmah upset with that?
Do you want him out so Willie "Strike Strike Strike" Mason can be captain? Is that it?

No, I'd like a competitive Origin series. Rushing Lockyer back = more potential for re-injury.

I don't like seeing our games' stars out injured.

Obviously hasn't been updated in a bit then. Ah well. Good to see him back early, just hope there's not an increased risk of re-injury.

It's not exactly an injury you can 'rush' someone back from and the Broncos nor Lockyer wouldn't be so stupid as to risk any further injury to him.
