I just hate the way I live and die with this team. We never seem to get it together in the most important games.

pissed off with the loss but i saw alot of effort and good signs to be pretty happy with. still in the 8, we could always lose 2-3 games even tho we would've loved to win them all. time to make up for it against the broncos.

SBW should have been sent for that shoulder charge, especially since it was the second time he tried to do it.

But knowing the judiciary, he'll get zero weeks.

This game was always pencilled in as a loss. We need to concentrate on beating the broncos twice, the sharks and cowboys

Would've been nice to have Willie for the whole game, and Snowy out there for that matter. We competed well with them, but the pressure got to us and we dropped too much ball when it counted. The Roosters are bloody strong... we actually contained SBW very well seemingly by makign sure we covered the blokes he was passing to. Impossible to keep that bloke out of the game, he's a freak. He should spend a few weeks on the sidelines for that shoulder charge to Willie's head, too.

Too intimidated I reckon.
A few mistakes at critical times. Bad calls against us didn't help and could have been a turning point in the game but penalties leveled out a bit.
We went too soft.

yeah hopefully we can keep winning until the melbourne game and then finish the season off with wins, it's not out of the question. we can prob afford to lose 2 more games, broncos 2x, sharks, storm, cowboys and eels left.

Congrats to the Knights. You gave it to the Roosters all day. Boyd dropping the ball onto RTS after he scored is poor form though. He's pretty hard to like.

I don't think the scoreline was a true reflection of the game. Ultimately we weren't good enough, but we did give as good as we got for long portions. We got frustrated too much in attack and went sideways too much rather than going forward before going to the edges.

All things considered, obviously we'd have liked to have won, but when you don't have your starting front rowers for half the game it makes things incredibly difficult.

No Mason or Snowden for next week makes things interesting - who starts with Fa'alogo? Cuthbertson? Tetevano?

Whack Houston in the front row- he has been very solid the last few weeks and has been making good metres.

It was just one clip Yosh, we have no idea how Wayne will approach that loss with the players. He may have gone mental at them later on after the cameras had stopped showing him or tomorrow, although personally I doubt he would be worried enough to do that. It's just one loss after three wins after all.

I really think we played well. That opening first half was an excellent game to watch, especially there. Roosters are an excellently defensive side and that's what won them the game. We just couldn't capitalize on the opportunities such as the number of penalties we got on their line half way through the second half. And honestly, NRL.com saying it was a Sonny inspired win. Unless I watched it differently, he really kept him quiet and pressured him. Only a handful of offloads and none of them were very devastating.

The scoreline doesn't reflect the game, not at all. We lost the plot in the final 10 minutes and they just ran wild. As for the two points, we weren't able to break the line and while we very well could of, it was the right move. If we didn't drop off, it would have only been a try difference. The mistakes in the first half cost us. 4 opportunities blown.

We missed Snowy's intensity and perhaps he could have been "that forward" to break their line. We'll miss Mase next week, but it's the Broncos so I'm not exactly worried and surely the rest of them will step up. Especially Rochow, he's been really impressive in recent weeks.

Overall, a great game to watch minus the one friend I had that doesn't watch the sport but came to drink and troll a few of us  Also very proud of the crowd. 22,800 something. Very vocal.

Yeah I know... I made that statement in shock... Everyone was just walking about like nothing really happened... Like we expected to lose kinda...

Sometimes I think we follow the script too much. The players believe that we're probably going to lose, but we'll put up a good fight and can leave the game with our heads held high... I don't think we have the winning mentality yet, where we expect to win every game.

Yoshy, you're being too harsh IMO.

Yes, we lost and yes, we all get a bit emo when that happens, but to beat the top sides you need to have your best side on the park. Not making excuses, but Gidley, Snowden and McKinnon are fair losses and then throw Mason in there halfway through it doesn't help.

I saw enough today to suggest if we meet the Roosters in the finals, we'll be in it up to our eyeballs.

I wasnt too disappointed that we went for the two. Hindsite is a wonderful thing, but if we scored and leveled the scores, then everyone would be apploading the decision. The way the roosters were defending made it appear that scoring 2 trys would be extremely unlikely.
