Waddell's passing from the ground has certainly increased in speed this year. Last year there was a pause before he passed but this is not happening this year which has made the speed of the pass quicker.

Credit where credit is due and he has worked on his game and he has definitely improved.

We brought the crowd into the game by having a bloody go. It's not rocket science. Have a crack and the crowd usually responds. There was a buzz about the players tonight that they believed they could win, right up til the last 5 seconds. The crowd definitely picked up on that.

Definitely, but you could say the same of a few other plays that came just when we were about to lose our grip on the match. Aku's setup for Houston was critical, Gagai's try was critical.

There were quite a few moments where typically we would lose our grip on the match and allow the opposition to march all over us, but we just kept turning up and finding a way to stick with them. It was great to watch.

Waddell has not so much sped up his passing but the accuracy of where he hits first or second receiver has improved remarkably. Real big game from him. Happy to keep him as the kid has ticker.
