People dont realise how much of a difference gidley will make to this side. Everyone bags him and says there isnt a spot in the team for him. A fit Gidley still makes any side in the NRL.
Not expecting too much from him tonight due to his long layoff, but he is a MASSIVE boost for our side heading into september

Agee with that LG. I'd prefer he wasnt playing tonight.... He might not be able to do much himself but he will lift & guide your team.

I'm not too confident with him in the 17.

Going out tonight so won't see the game live, have to rely on phone updates. Anyway expecting a big performance from the boys, hopefully they lift for this.

What a surprise that Tetevano is the weak link in defence. Not first grade material, never will be.

After about 2 minutes tetevano is lagging behind in defence.

Sharks forwards are too quick and powerful for us to win this

I really hate that situation with Gagai and the advantage being played. Referees always force players who pick up dropped balls from the opposition to take a run, even whey they clearly don't want to and would prefer the scrum. You see them watch players try to get out of their own in goal area, or gather a loose ball and get tackled in the same spot but with zero momentum in the ruck.

Gagai looks up and sees the only space is out wide so he goes that way, and he knows that if he runs across field and gets smashed by a wall of defenders and tackled a metre out from our line then the refs will call play on and we'll struggle to get out of our 30m zone.

Players should be able to call "scrum" if they don't want to play on.

Agreed. I think we're going to go down without much of a fight to be honest. Maybe not a bad loss, but a comfortable 12-18 point win for them based on what I'm watching right now.

Tetevano is an embarrassment. He can't handle the pace of the NSW Cup, so why would he do any better at the top level? He's an absolute passenger without the ball and he always has been.

Disgusting football from Uate not just going in-field. Possession is everything ffs, that's twice we've handed the ball over because of stupid runs down the wing on a slippery surface. Such poor game management.

I'm usually always against taking the 2 points in the first half and I believe it has contributed to some of our losses this year, but on this occasion I'll back that decision.

Psychological advantage of going in to half-time with the lead after a poor half, and it could well be a low-scoring game.

Bad refereeing. Twice we've been made to take "advantage" and come off worse for it. Penalised a few times coz they can't stand up with the ball.

Hoping we can hang on, it's definitely going to be close. They will keep making errors,we just need to capitalise on them and tighten up our defence, watch the angled runs.

Yeah gidley has improved as the game has gone on. It's good to have a 90% goal kicker again.

Nev is playing well, snowden is his usual awesome self.

I think there are opportunities down the edges as the sharks have the worst wingers and centres in the comp. BJ needs some ball with room to move.
