Home semi-final guaranteed.

3rd if the Eels lose one more game or the Cows beat the Dogs.

They'd have some momentum heading into the finals too.

useless bloody Knights never win when you want them to

looks like I might need to support the Dogs next week to beat the Cowboys and that just makes me feel dirty
Yep, us Parra fans are going to need a shower after next weekends Cowboys-Dogs game.

I mostly watched the Dogs-Storm game, but flicked back to the Cowboys-Knights game throughout. Looked like the effort was their from Newcastle, just not the execution at critical times.

Kirk should have played though - Is there any doubt his presence would have been worth the 17 points required for Newcastle to win? ;-) :p

i think every team would like a shot at the cowboys in the playoffs,be interesting to see exactly where they finish, could even play the dogs twice in a week.

Good game of footy I thought.

Newcastle stuck it to the Cowboys all night and if Ash Grahem hadn't made that freakish intercept then Newcastle could've won that match, however it wasn't to be. All the Buderus nay sayers will be eating their words, great performance from him and he proved why he's considered one of the best hookers in the game.

Again it was the Bowen and Thurston show for the Cowboys but god was it entertaining. They just read each others game so well; superb performance, especially from Bowen who scored this awesome 90m try.

The Knights played great and even though I'm not a huge fan of him I have to tip my hat to him(Danny Buderus).
Ash Graham had a blinder tonight!

Things will get better for our boys im sure.. as for the Cows congrats on a good win.. Thurston and Bowen are freaks and will be a danger in the semis.. well done

Shorty how many tries is that for Ash Grahem this season? He's been one of the big improvers this season alongside Ray Cashmere (although I always had a soft spot for Ray).

Hmm, not a great end result, but I'm glad I went.

I was so happy when we were 18 - 16 up, but I don't think I've ever seen my mood change so quick when that pass was intercepted lol. If that hadn't of happened, I think we could have come away with a win. Great game for Danny, was great to see him lead the boys out.

Oh yeah, Bowen is a freak! He ran us all over the field :|

Were the amount of forward passes (both sides) as bad live as it seemed to be on tele?

Like always, some were correct calls some weren't.

On the ref though, he was a moron both ways. First off he wouldn't give us a penalty, but gave the Cowboys some, then a second later he was giving us penalties for no reason! >_<

Yeah I don't rate Maxwell at all. Made some horrible calls both sides.

For those interested according to Big League Grahem has scored 18 tries! What a season!

Agreed I thought I was seeing things!
It sucks really,in terms of the GF the ref pickings are pretty scary.

Ashley Graham was yet another BS decision, gave him to the Cowboys before he packed it in at Parra.

Oh dear, judgement day will come, Tonga, Ryan, Graham nearly ost Mateo, then not picking Inu , Hayne , he did some real good trings and will still do at Newcastle but has some real big issues on recognising who should be kept.

Sure, we lost, but f**k me I'm proud of them. As a fan, you obviously want your team to win as a first priority and after that, you want them to have a red-hot go. The Knights may not have won tonight, but I'm bloody proud of the amount of effort which was put in.

Delboy, I'm not sure Parramatta mangament is to blame. Grahem was a poor performer at your club (or so I'm lead to believe) and was constantly getting injured.

The move just proved to work.

Pete, he got a terrible injury against the Broncos a few years ago, the issue was he never really got a run in first grade as I don't think BS rated him.

It was really a comment on mistakes , as I said BS will do some good things at Newie, just that they may not be as forgiving over time that we were at Parra when mistakes of judgement are made with players coning through your own system.
