SBW is 2 weeks regardless so I don't see any reason for him not to fight it.

Incorrect. SBW is 3 weeks if he fights and loses - 270 points from this charge plus 62 carryover points = 332 points.

The good news for Sonny Bill is if he cops the 2 weeks he'll only miss the one game next season.

Why? Because the Dogs and Storm will both lose?

Or because he's not good enough for NZ?

How do they come up with 202 points for an Early Guilty Plea?

Sonny may have played his last game this season.

75% of (225 plus 20% of 225) = 202.5 ~ 202

He'll get it downgraded.

225 base points
20% loading for 1 prior non-similar charge (45 points)
25% discount for early guilty plea (-67.5 points)
Final total: 202.5 points (rounded down it would seem).

Timmah, simple question. Fa'alogo gets up, throws one, clips Anasta on the chin. Anasta fights back, they punch on, referee breaks it up. Fa'alogo gets binned for starting the fight.

Would he get 4 weeks for that?
For a completely unprovoked king hit, definitely.

Unprovoked?

You're a dead set dope if you think that was unprovoked.

That's my point. He gets four weeks for knowing how to throw one.
I think he deserves what he gets but you're right. It's always been that way - throw a good punch, get suspended. Throw a bad one, nothing.

Seems the better the punch, the longer you get suspended.

Lowe's punch was alot more than 1 week better than Fa'alongo's

but a fair point. I see no difference between Lowe, Webb and Fa'alongo incidents. All received different length suspensions. It seems it all comes down to how hurt the person you punched is.

Why didn't Tallis get weeks when he pummelled Ben Ross for a good 5 punches?
Should have been 25 weeks by the 'land a good one, get more weeks' theory.

As has been stated before, the Tallis incident was the catalyst for change.

The unfortunate part of the whole charge is that he won't be around for the return clash in round one next year.

faalogo is lucky to only be looking at 4 weeks. as for it being a good punch, yes it split anastas lip but he didnt knock him down like other players have i.e. williams, webb and lowe.

credit to anasta he didnt go down like a sack of sh*t
