If you watch us move the ball around we are the slowest at getting the ball from 1 side of the field to the other. It’s just drives me mad watching plays take an age which then doesn’t give out outside backs room. Surely coaches can see that and point it out to hunt. Our back get the ball with the defence in their face 99% of the time. If I can see that why is it a coach on what 400 grand can’t see the wrong

We are so slow at everything. The two players that add some zip (Liddle and Sullivan), under utilised and not selected. Mbye has lost the battle with father time. Too slow. Liddle would have scored all 3 of the Mbye barge overs. All of Mbye's hold ups over the line looked like slow motion. Sullivan would have added lots of zip when we had some possession and couldn't score because we were so pedestrian

How disapointing. We lost that game, the Titans didn't win it. Today also highlighted that as good a player Ben Hunt can be, he isn't a great Captain. Just watching the incident where Sloan got touched up, Sua was doing all the talking, Hunt hardly uttered a word of protest to the Ref.

Today just proved we won't be playing finals this season. Could have had 3 tries early and silenced the crowd, but instead tried to be flashy and just bumbled our way through the game. The icing on the cake was the captains knock in the championship minutes.
Titans were missing 3/4 of their spine and still got the job done.

Sloan also under-utilised

The attack is Hunt centric

As Dino used to say we need speed, speed and more speed

Gotta love when bud gets dropped back to nsw cup to play himself back into the side against the likes of mbye and amone?? Bud at least looked way more threatening with his individual play than amone looked against GC all arvo. Him and hunt seemed to of been building steadily until his injury. we had 2 genuine kicking options on the 5th as well.

Liddle being bought back on after 30 minutes in the second half? WTF? And mbye thinking he is Harry grant going himself 3 times in one set out of hooker WTF?

Didn’t lomax have one of his best kicking records from season 21 into 22?? He went 18 conversions in a row or something? Why fix something that wasn’t broken? F me honestly.

I thought we played pretty well today. It was a bit one out and lacked creativity but it is the dragons.
They all had a crack, didn’t go their way but at least they weren’t embarrassed.
Just a question for the people, and I know he is the least of our worries, but does Fegai offer anything at all? I mean Rava is rocks and diamonds but he offers plenty, I feel like Fegai is very very ordinary….
We tried very hard Crush, unfortunately participation awards are only handed out in Kindergarten

I think the thing that disappointed me most about the game today was the last 5 or 6 minutes was so scripted and predictable ....when the whistle blew to start the game we actually looked as though we had turned up to play...there was some intent, ball movement, urgency and commitment to the task ahead...even when we lost Molo for 10 we showed some resolve but then slowly but surely things started to unravel for us as the game wore on ......yes we got caned in the penalties some of which were very very dodgy and also players from The Titans continually were holding down, hands on the ball off side etc but we still should have won that game.....you just knew though we were going to lose, well I did anyhow.......one thing stuck out today and thats Amone shouldnt be replacing Sullivan....imo he adds nothing to the team atm, he appears to be struggling for match fitness and it appears hes mind is elsewhere....

Couldnt agree more.....Mbye as you said tried to go himself only to be held up.....on one of these occassions he just waddled back in slow motion to play the ball which gave the tiring Titans an eternity to reset their defence.....can you imagine a coach like Bellamy putting up with that casual approach.....he wouldnt be in 1st grade the following week

2 wins against bottom 8 sides at home and a loss away to bottom eight side plus 2 demoralising loss to top 8 sides. Yes, we will end up where we ended up last year. Now that the board does not want Hook, it is time to pay him off and cut ties. Appoint next year coach. Hopefully Hazler so that negotiations for next year can start

Feel like Hunt has been backing Amone over Sullivan to Hook. The reason being Hunt gets more control with Amone in the team & more opportunities for the ball to be in his hand. Sullivan has a far greater skillset than Amone which has led to Hunt having less opportunities when Sullivan is in the team. Hunt is our best player but a lot of the time everything is set up for Hunt to succeed rather than the team. Especially considering his ill-timed comments about supporting Hook.

I personally wouldn't care if Hunt left if it meant Hook is gone too. I find it selfish when he makes comments that pretty much threaten the dragons if they give Hook the boot.

Hunt is a mystery to me. On the one hand, he plays his guts out every week - particularly under Hook - and yet he shows zero spine as a captain when the ref gets involved.

In this instance you could see Sua losing it and speaking up because he copped a penalty when clearly their captain and the bloke who came in throwing them should have earnt the ire of the ref. Hunt lets his footy do the talking but his lack of ability to speak up for our rights is half the reason we cop it from refs. Maybe refs aren't swayed by chatty captains but you have to hold them to account for the benefit of your team.

We've seen Hunt lose it at team mates many times before, and deservedly so, but this combination is not the makings of a good captain. His support for the coach at this point really baffles me. If he were such an amzing coach he wouldn't have us losing games like this in the 3rd year of his tenure. Hunt more or less suggesting if Hook goes he does too...pffft

I won't hold my breath for Griffin to pick a new captain.

First thing I was saying after that second scuffle with some cheap shots thrown from those scumbag titans. Ref blows a penalty against us and hunt says SFA.

I’ve watched every game this wkend, you have the teams at the top which all of there captains won’t stop at the reff with every call that goes against them even when they are walking off at halftime…

I cant even watch us play at the moment. We are just lucky the Tigers are going so bad at the moment.
The board needs to make a decission now.
Hunt is only speaking out as he knows Griffin is cooked but also knows the board cant make a decission in the best interest for the club.
