Was happy with that. Both sides started with fire and brimstone and we well and truly got the better of it. I thought we were very patient with the ball in hand. Excellent first half.

Seemed to go into our shell a bit in the second half but I suppose that’s where we are trying to strangle the life out of the game. I thought if we kept playing a touch expansive we’d have put them to bed.

Anyway RCG, Penisini and Gutho were outstanding. I thought Hands played well too. Got us over the advantage line well by shaping one way and then back the other, often to Greig or Matto on the charge.
Promising signs.

Lane's coming along nicely as well. And I'm really impressed with the way Cartwright has re-invented himself. He's playing well.
