One of my biggest gripes against us - we don't understand how valuable line breaks and offloads are. We just take our extra metres for granted then get back into the grind, when we should be looking to hurt them.

That was ridiculous. Randell gets into position and puts the defence on the back foot and we look lethargic! Where is the energy? Where are the halves stepping up and the back line quickly getting into position?

It's all just so pedestrian. And this has been going on for years.

That's why we need a decent half. We make a line break our 7 throws a dud forward pass. They make a line break, they get a repeat set. If it wasn't for Jimmy's save, that's a four pointer.

When good teams make a break like Randell did, you see the whole team click into gear and if they don't get a try they often park themselves down there for a while. But the big thing they do is show intent. I hate how predictable our lack of attacking intent is.

Gidley are Roberts will lose this game off their own backs, honestly. Even in the clear Gids looked lost. Roberts can't find a repeat set when it's staring him in the face.

This game is going to script. We will look the goods, dominate field position, dominate metres gained stats and probably ever other stat. And we will be down 12-0 in no time.

It's low standards for your highly paid experienced captain, but yeah I guess.

Some players would have scored from his break, or at the very least found a way to get out wide. I'm not saying Gids is having a shocker, but he's having a Gids. In the end it's that mediocrity in key positions that kills us.
