Definitely sucks for Cam but I agree with Eric. Let him rest and rehab this year and put all his focus on next year.
Diagnosed as a hip problem ,not hammy, 2 weeks outDon't mean to intrude on your forum lads but I just trying to see if anyone has any late mail on tallis Duncan's injury?
Looked a textbook hammy tear while watching the game but he's named in the team, which was a surprise.
He's in my fantasy team which is the main reason for my enquiry.
Well, he's been named to start this week but that doesn't mean he will. Still, I'm surprised and hopefully he is right to go.Don't mean to intrude on your forum lads but I just trying to see if anyone has any late mail on tallis Duncan's injury?

There's no new news about Cam. It's just journos speculating and nothing from Cam or the rehab team. Zero Tackle quotes the SMH article on Smith possibly coming to Souths where they throw in Cam being "likely" to miss the season. That's just their blind guess. If anyone can make it back earlier than average, it's Cam Murray. They also add Willie Mason's opinion it could be good for his longevity which it might. But if we're in contention to make the finals for the first time in 3 years, if Cam is fully recovered, he would want to make it back to help and we would want him back too.![]()
Season over?: Update given on Cameron Murray
He ruptured his Achilles tendon in the pre-season.www.zerotackle.com
Maybe with needlesWell, he's been named to start this week but that doesn't mean he will. Still, I'm surprised and hopefully he is right to go.
Not for a tight hammy. He'd do even more damage to it if he couldn't feel it and it was tearing.Maybe with needles
Ive already told you it wasnt a hammy,he has been diagnosed as a hip strainNot for a tight hammy. He'd do even more damage to it if he couldn't feel it and it was tearing.
No, if he's not right, he should sit it out but if he is right, bit like Turbo maybe, then good. We need him.
Yeah, righto, Where did you hear that mate?Ive already told you it wasnt a hammy,he has been diagnosed as a hip strain
Wait and seeYeah, righto, Where did you hear that mate?
Not sure you understand my question handy. What I want to know is the source of your info. Things get bandied about here and there so I always like to check out who and where the info is from. If it's from the club, the nrl official site, that sort of thing, then I'm more inclined to believe it. But as we can see with the story mentioning Cam Murray being out for the full season, there's no new evidence to support that. It's just talk. So, just wanting to know your source please mate. I'm not questioning you or meaning to offend you in any way.Wait and see
Fair enough,i read it in the news but looking back now i cant find it,so we wait, if he plays or is back in 2 weeks its hip,a hammy usually takes 4 to 6Not sure you understand my question handy. When I put something up on here or elsewhere, I try to back it up with the link or say where it's from if it's meant to be fact and not just my opinion.
Well, it depends how bad it is. I haven't noticed anything in the media about it (hip). Also, journos are not exactly tip top when it comes to accuracy. I like to wait until we hear it from the horse's mouth i.e. the player himself or someone at the club gets quoted.Fair enough,i read it in the news but looking back now i cant find it,so we wait, if he plays or is back in 2 weeks its hip,a hammy usually takes 4 to 6
