Watched ep 6 haven’t watched ep 7 yet.

Loved Lote saying f**k him re JWH we are coming for ya! Pearce did the chokers gag too when the scum were up 12-0 when we got back to 12 all we were right into him.

Also loved re watching Sam stop Moa on halftime that’ll never get old frigging enormous play that was as was the Te’o try after half time then the 2 GI tries.

Also found it interesting at the end Pearcey said to Keary go get ‘em mate in the big dance you guys deserve this that was very good sportsmanship to be fair

Problem is humphrys considers himself more a 7, you dont want to upsett him by playing him at 9, but in saying that if he is agreeable i think he would make a great 9 and he would be alot better than mamouzelos, especially if he was promised a 1st grade spot, and if youve seen the pics of him at training, he has bulked up and muscled up, i recon he has been told he will be 9
I honestly think next season wont be a great one for us,we are going in prop light,we need 2 big boppers and until we clear a few players like host, in the cap and source young up and coming, like that titans hulk, we will not dent the 8, the other problem we have is wing, if munro stays 1 spot is ok but the other is a problem, tass isnt the fastest, i dont know why we couldnt do what storm and easts have done with fast ex union players.

Hard to tell at this stage but I think Humphreys might end up playing 9 if Dodd kicks on. He's got the build for a 9 and there's a lot of decent 7's that end up being great 9s. I would rather not spend big on a number 9 because I think there's only 2 in the comp right now worth good money and that's Api and Harry Grant. Get Pete there or get Humphreys to focus on getting the ball to Dodd as quick as possible. Put in some short kicks on 4th for repeat sets. The charity shield should reveal a lot.

South’s are not strong but extremely strong across the park going into 2025. The only exception being is another big middle meter eater. Otherwise we will finish well into the 8, in fact closer to the pointy end of the eight, in 2025.
getting Lodge would be great.

Duncan about to announce a 2yr extension with Souths. That is a positive roster move, over the other trash currently circling our ranks.
Very positive. Positively positive! He has a very high ceiling and hasn't yet begun to scratch the surface. I thought his game for the PM's XIII was eye catching and it would have done the world of good for his development. Well done Albo. ;)

Looks like Sullivan will be preferred over Madden as our back up half due to the Tigers kicking in a huge part of his salary so we can reserve as much cap space as possible for another player (Lodge?) compared to Madden who would come with no freight.

Personally I think Madden is the better player although Sullivan could still develop into a better player himself in time and with the right coaching but for the freight being forwarded by the Tigers, it becomes a no brainer for essentially our NSW Cup halfback to cost us bugger all.

We don't have to match his salary. The Tigers pay 300, we pay 100. He gets 400 reduced down from 600. He should take it if he's smart and get coached by the best to fix up the holes in his game. Can't game manage to save his life at present.

If he’s smart stay at tigers and get his 600 a year running around in regies

He is on 650,why accept 400? I mean i agree with u, he is useless and really not worth more than reserve grade money

As for Sullivan what are we thinking, clearly not thinking at all. Not what we need and he’s bog average. I can picture Solly and Ello at a table with their eyes lighting up when they discuss Sullivan saying he’s our guy mate he will fit right into the South Sydney way
:face_vomiting:
. Get rid of deadwood to bring in more deadwood makes no sense I’m baffled and disheartened with this if it goes ahead and we get Sullivan.

If we end up with Knight too then I’ll fully lose my shit.

As for Aitken I’m gutted my gut feels sick great another potential injury to start the year if it’s pec again. We can’t take a trick I’ve had a gutful f**k me.
