I absolutely disagree both are not good citizens especially trellmyth whom said the fword five times in a row on national prime tv i did not see trellmyth get pulled up for that?? Lodge's assault was very bad truly appalling but the white powder scandal for trellmyth is what kills our youth of today got it? Try telling that to their parents whom have lost a child..I believe the addo Carr's and mam's of this world today should had been kicked out of the game for life along with trellmyth what message is this telling our children in the future? I suspect we are looking at getting Sullivan mostly covered by the Tigers or Madden for a very lowball number and keeping the rest of our cap money for Smith around mid-year.

In the meantime, I think Wayne will look for a bargain priced prop with potential from either a NSW or Qld Cup side.

Why you keep saying smith mid year is beyond me!! His knee wont be right till 3/4 of the season, and then it will take him a while to build confidence etc, if we are going to make a play u get him for 26, but if humphrys goes well why would you blow cap on troublemaker smith, as the 25 season goes on it will be evident we need props, and we will need cap for that

Because it's so long from now, we will have to wait and see. I say mid-year, but I don't mean literally to the day. Whenever the time comes which will be mid-year or thereabouts. It's estimated to be around May or June when he might be ready to start playing again.

If Humphreys is killing it though, then perhaps our plans might change. But we're talking about what the plans might be looking forward from this point in time. So, you have to think of contingency plans. And I don't see Smith as a trouble maker at all. He's cheeky but that's not the same thing.

As for props, who else is there except a no name? Wayne has found no names and turned them into names before. He can do it again. Meanwhile, we have edge forwards that can also play middle allowing us to play an extra edge on the bench like Schuster if he comes good which is another way to go.
