If I were 25 years younger I would happily lace up the boots. I'm 198cm but would need to pack on some kgs as I've got more of a basketballers build.

Rabbitohs coach Wayne Bennett has shot down suggestions Souths’ injury crisis will destroy their season, unveiling a new captain and revealing positional changes are coming.

Coach Wayne Bennett has revealed that veteran playmaker Cody Walker will captain the side in the absence of injured skipper Cam Murray. Walker was in some doubt to play in Round 1, but Bennett told Code Sports that he believes Walker will be fit enough to take his place and lead the Bunnies onto Suncorp Stadium on March 7. “He’s an important part of what we do. I expect him to play in round 1... I know he can get the job done this year,” Bennett said of Walker.

Speedster i have my doubts we just have far too many injuries we will be pushing sh##t up hill for the first 2 months we just don't have the cattle besides trellmyth the myth cant stay on the paddock for an extended amount of time + jye gray is a foot short to compete for the high ball against tallish wingers.host is a dud cam is out there is no sammy burgess clone to lead from the front cody is too old + dodd ended up a 2.1m dud.stretch is still injured he has been missing in action for far too long + that will take a couple of months b4 he finds his feet.the manly kid I hope steals #7 period i reckon we are in trouble i don't believe any of that bennett jive that's stated above souths are looking bad and lastly will schuster ever get his act together if not go find a real job..not looking good..fins by 20pts minimum I reckon I hope not but that fidow tabutai or whatever his name is will destroy souths i hope jye gray has a granite jaw he'll need it..

I like Cody as captain. I think he will do a fine job leading the boys and he will relish the responsibility. As for Jye needing a granite jaw SSR, he's going to be fine. He's too quick and light on his feet for his opponents to take out. He may be small but he;s got that Redfern Toughness that will see him be alright.

I just watched some highlights of Humpreys, I must say, he’s looking pretty willing this kid.

Add Benny into the mix and the fresh non entitled attitude….

Mate, we're not favourites to win at the moment, that's for sure. I have my doubts too. Then again, favouritism doesn't guarantee the win. Underdogs sometimes get up. So, never say die and let's see how things turn out. It's a long season and we need to set a foundation to build on. We will start getting troops back as the season progresses and with any luck, the number of fresh injuries will dry up and be shared around the comp more evenly from our perspective. If we can jag a few wins here and there in the first few rounds, we'll set ourselves up for later on. We're not going to win the comp this year but we can aim realistically to make the 8 by the time September rolls round which is ages away.

He has a low centre of gravity which makes him hard to tackle and that's how he makes so many tackle breaks. He has his strengths and his weaknesses like most players but I think he's a beauty - likely should end up in the halves - but he's in my 17 every week.
