Thing is, when you say leave Latrell where he is ATM, Wayne shifted him to 5/8 in the 2nd half, not Wighton. And we won. So, while he could consider shifting Jack there next week, makes you wonder why he didn't do that the other night.

It's still a possibility but I would rate Mitchell at 6 is more likely now - if Cody is out.
If you watched an interview of jack on Friday night after the roosters game jack said that Wayne said hey jack you played a bit of 5/8 last year your do you reckon you went alright jack replied yep and Wayne said your playing centre

I'd be good with either, just giving you what I'd do.

Dearden likes to run across to the edge backrowers and centres before straightening off the dummy. The 5/8s are less likely to go directly head to head and frankly I would rate Trell's defence ahead of Jack's.
He did miss a tackle, poor attempt hanging out his arm, that resulted in a try.

Yeah, I get that, but you could put that down to just having a poor game.
We have seen him have good defensive games too.
Lessening the D workload for Latrell @ 5/8 also works to leave him fresher in attack.
For mine, Latrell's passing game is my favourite part of his game. He can run it, pass and kick. The lot. He'd be wasted out in the centres I reckon at this level and I especially want him doing most of the playmaking. Jack's more of a running 5/8 but very few have the sweet hands that Latrell has.
