If I'm honest, it reads very one-sided to me by a journo who i believe is very pro-Bennett.
Seibold may have turned his back on us but he wasn't the one planting journo's in press conferences and contacting players that weren't yet his.
It was an ugly saga that has thankfully ended and is now in the past... a lot like Brisbane premierships

We all love Bennett at the moment but God help us if we ever need to get rid of him before he decides his time is up.

He's the Don Bradman of coaches... Once he's in and settled he's impossible to get out.

I've not seen any updates but would assume he'd be getting close to playing a few minutes in reserve grade.

Due to start training with the team next week. Was estimated to be playing again around Rd 8. I’d say with a couple of NSWCup games under his belt he’d be available for first grade around rd 10 if needed.

He is training he has had a knee reconstruction he is strengthening the knee,we should see him in about 5 weeks

I've not seen any updates but would assume he'd be getting close to playing a few minutes in reserve grade.

Round 8-12 is what I’m hearing for his return.

Personally i would prefer he concentrate on souths and getting fit rather than playing a test match

Well it’s in June so he should be good for both. The game has to grow or in 30’years it won’t exist.

Assuming no hiccups in his recovery, playing the test match would be good for his fitness as it'd be another game under his belt on a weekend where there is no club footy.
Plus, it's never a bad thing to have players involved in rep footy.

I'm not expecting anything from him in first grade until 2020. The first season back from an ACL is often a write off. I just hope that the club keep this in mind and stick with him.

Well that's a very silly, selfish attitude to take.

It does worry me that Bennett may not pay attention to him once he returns from injury as he does have a lot to offer our side.
