I've over exaggerating? You guys are the ones who over exaggerate everything. You put the blame on guys like Clark and turner when realistically Adam Reynolds and Cody Walker haven't put together an 80 minute performance all year. The fact is our forwards aren't the problem it's our backs yet you guys still blame Clark and turner. How is it their fault that we can't force a repeat set?, how is it their fault that oppositions expose our edge?, how is it their fault that our fullback plays like a centre?, how is it their fault that the Burgess twins only show up every few games? It seems as if you guys are the don't knowers tbh...

The problem is not either or. Both our forwards and backs are the problems. Only Walker, Sam and Crichton's spot should be safe next season. The rest should work hard to keep their spot, that is if Souths can find players who will fight for a spot. I think our reserves are content at being reserves. Sometimes a player who lacks motivation works harder when they know their spot in the team is in jeopardy.

I think Gray wants to leave, it has been rumoured that he asked for a pre June 30 release to join the knights this year.

I think that rumor is a load of garbage. He hasn't been on the park yet this year. I doubt very much that the Knights would seek a release for him so that he could possibly sit on the sidelines up there instead.

Maybe once he's made a recovery from injury.

Gray won't be on the sidelines come June 30, unless he gets another injury.

You've hit the nail on the head mate.
Here are some stats on Clarke.
He is 3rd in offloads and if you work it out per minute he's on the field he ranks first at an offload every 39 minutes.

Defensive work rate...tackling. Clarke ranks second at a tackle every 1.6 minutes on the field.
Tom is 1.44 Cook 1.77 Robbie 1.95 and Sam 1.9.

So he's far from the worst out there.
Give the Man a contract extension. A great bench player.
Maybe not a starter but if you start and still only play as many minutes as you do when you play off the bench does it really matter if you "started" or come off the bench.

I think it's obvious that Clark and turner aren't freaks of nature that are gonna make ridiculous stats per minute like a Paul Gallen or jack de belin, but it's not going to make a single difference if our halves don't step up and do their job!

I agree with you mate nobody in our team should be safe, but if theres a small positive from the last few weeks it's the fact that our lesser paid players such as Clark, turner, Crichton have all done their job. Crichton has gone above and beyond. We don't lose by 30 points though because they don't make more run metres. If you think that then you're pretty thick. When you're constantly defending 7 tackle sets because Reynolds has kicked it out on the full or kicked it dead then your forwards are basically forced to put all their energy into tackling. If we were constantly putting pressure on opposition teams forcing repeat sets, or forcing them to their own 10m line then our forwards would be able to expend most of the energy on running. We just need our spine to gel which hopefully we can do tonight.

Rumours are that asiata has informed rival clubs he is staying at the cowboys. If the rumoured $350k wasn't enough to get then that is probably a good thing

Probably realises he'll have a starting spot at the cowboys soon enough. Smart for us not to pay overs though!

After tonight he has put his name back in the NSW mix as has AR. I feel it'll either be both or neither.

I don't think NSW should pick Farah and that's only because of his age. I understand he's the "safe" option but we do need to move forward as a state and I think peats could go just as well as Farah. Choosing Farah again would just be like choosing Gallen. It's basically a losing combination. Farah played really well tonight but it's not like his been in this kind of form all year. I think Daley would be pretty thick to pick him from one game.
