Wish I had your confident but the way we have played on the road so far this season gives me none.

We have a slight chance here. hopefully the guys can show up to play.

If we lose convincingly I am expecting this and the other forum to go ballistic haha

 I am expecting nothing short of Epic, anything else would be bitterly dissapointing.

Solid win by the boys, nothing flashy but the basics were finally done and no silly penalties. Looked alright in attack, better last week but some nice kicks from McCrone did the trick along with offloads by Tilse and Harrison. Clearly we could use more offloads to spark up our attack more, with Monaghan back we could potentially have the ability to bomb both sides which would add another dimension.

Thurling was used right for once, hopefully Furner doesn't deviate from this. TLL didn't get enough time though so need to find more minutes for him. Mogg was wasted off the bench, Carney would offer more in particular helping out with the hooking duties.

I am liking this Carney in the hooking role bandwagon.

This performance needs to be backed up or it's just another one of those fluffy wins.

Must say Parramatta were sh*t... They were gifted all their points tonight by dodgy calls...

That said the team played well and we won away from home and with most of the "50/50" calls going against us.

Great game...am I the only one who thinks Thompson should stay at center!??
I mean how good has been, its great to have such a hard hitting defender out wide and he has all the skills a center needs...just a thought as we have more forward depth atm...

Keep him there,I don't want to see tha lily white galoot Monner's flopping all around the place, jumping up and down like a labrador after a frisbee in the centres.

I thought our centres were superb in attack and defence. Crokers reads are some of th ebest I have seen from a centre. He rarely if ever misses his man, even when he comes out of the line his timing is spot on.

Croker is phenomenal and will play many games in a sky blue jersey before his career is over.

With Monaghan on the way back, the decision to sign Mogg gets more and more confusing.

Congrats, guys.

My pain at seeing how poor my beloved Eels are at the moment is eased somewhat by seeing the Mighty Raiders do well. The NRL is a better place when Canberra are going well imo.

Good luck for the rest of the year.

I still was biting my nails the whole game! I thought the effort was really good by the Raiders and bad luck to the eels. I thought the referees let a few things go the way of the raiders tonight, but what it comes down to for the eels was that no one firing. Hayne tried his guts out, but when the rest of your team doesn't look like wanting to play, he comes out as the bad guy. I still think they'll come good at the end of the year. So I wouldn't give up yet, still early days!

p.s GO THE RAIDERS! Had a huge grin on my face at the end of this game!!

Don't worry you guys are eventually bound to click. We know exactly what you are going through as watching you guys play was like us playing in the previous 4 rounds.

I'm the same, moving him to backrow would give Furner a headache trying to juggle the game time for him Thurling, TLL and maybe Picker. And when Waddell returns then we have Tongue back in the mix.

What to do with Monaghan? Wing perhaps? I'm reluctant to change the centres at the moment and moving JT into the backrow may nullify some of his explosiveness. He is a lot quicker than I thought whilst Croker is a gun centre in every sense of the word in both attack and defence.

Is it a coincidence we had less dropped ball and less penalties without Thommo in the team?

What about Miller? There is no way Fensom will be dropped from the starting lineup.

I can see this team running out in a few weeks:

Dugan
Monaghan
Croker
Thompson
Vidot
Campese
McCrone
Fensom
Harrison
Picker
Shillington
Tongue
Logan

Tilse
Miller
Thurling
Learoyd-Lahrs
