Great to see. Imagine if an NRL club decided to take a developing nation under its wing.
The perfect nation would be PNG. Insane potential with a decent sized population that’s growing rapidly every year and with a domestic league already in place.

Players like olam and gebbie prove this.

Given the comparison of population, state of domestic competition, interest in the game and proximity to Australia in regards to PNG and NZ, PNG should literally be a League powerhouse. A bona fide Tier 1 nation..

Money. PNG is a poor nation with large rural areas. Poor security doesn't help either.
True but I believe more and more people are moving from the rural parts into the cities and towns?

NRL or club Youth Performance clinics should be setup all over PNG. From the ages of around 12/13 to 17/18.
