What a joke?

You guys sign a 30+ bloke in Priddis – who had been resigned to retiring . So what a partnership of an old bloke in priddis and a talented but extremely slow and injury ravaged player in young.

What an ideal hooking partnership? Especially in todays game where bloke like Luke and Chase offer so much of the bench.

While a loyal Dragon has been on a minimum wage contract and played much more games and to a higher level than most has predicted.
How does he get rewarded.

He has so far held of from other offers in the NRL so he could hopefully remain with the dragons – good on him if he signs with somebody else.

Bring on a good toyota cup player - Hasn’t Dragons no.1 hooker also signed with Sharks.

No he hasn't.

A reliable poster with inside knowledge "Awynner" on the Jubilee Avenue forum reported Fepulai (??) had signed with the sharks and then later said he had that report wrong and confirmed that he hadn't signed by the sharks & was staying at the dragons.

Fepulai has far greater potential than rangi, so not fussed about chase leaving and neither is the club.

If ESL clubs want to offer him big money, then he's not worth trying to compete with that.

The RLW Mole says that Rangi is meeting with Bennett this week to discuss his future. The rumour mill suggests that Rangi sees himself as a half/five-eighth, and if the ESL offers are for those positions then it may be hard to compete. Hopefully Wayne convinces him he that his future is at hooker.

Hes not going to the ESL because of big money.

He going there because he hasn’t being offered a contract. And also they will back him and leave him in the halves.

Hornby is ordinary in the halves – both Soward and Chase would be much better. Both Soward and Chase were made scape goat for loses early in the year – but probably worse is that Hornby was looked as the saviour.

I don’t mind fepulauai but he does look a bit overweight. As for Fepulauai having greater potential – I don’t fully agree. Rangi would rip up in NYC.

Rangi has overcome heaps to make it into the NRL – the bloke was playing senior football as a youngster in middle of nowhere. He hasn’t really been backed as yet – especially in his natural position in the halves.

I understand him leaving with the signing of priddis. There no career development being bench hooker for another two years.

He needs to be backed. If he does he will kiwis half pairing with old school mate benji.
