this is easy, basically you have the big 5.

Tigers/Bulldogs (very hard to split)
Souths
Parra
StGeorge

It falls away incredibly after this

Penrith
Manly

And then another gap

Easts
Sharks

Dogs, Souths, Saints and Tigers are easily the top four.

Parramatta only have a big fanbase when they win. The above teams have kept reasonable crowd averages (comparative to their stadia in Saints' case) and have strong season ticket numbers from memory.

In Sydney, Manly, the Roosters, Sharks and Penrith seem to always struggle.

1) Bulldogs
2) Tigers
3) Rabbitohs
4) Dragons
5) Eels
6) Sea Eagles
7) Panthers
8) Roosters
9) Sharks

Dragons would probably be higher, but a lot of their supporter base comes from Wollongong.

IMO, the Eels have the biggest fan base and that was evidenced by the superior crowd size in the prelim final this year.

IMO it goes:

Eels
Tigers
Dogs
Dragons
Souths
Panthers
Sea Eagles
Sharks
Roosters

Hard to tell. The Dogs got pretty ordinary crowds in 2008, but did very well in 2009. It really depends on how the team is going. I would say, based on how they seem to go when they run mid pack

1. Tigers
2. Bulldogs
3. Dragons
4. Rabbitohs
5. Eels
-----------------------------
6. Sea Eagles
7. Panthers
8. Roosters
9. Sharks

The line indicates a very big gap
