Reliance of the roster on Shaun Johnson for attack - far too much
Reliance of the roster on Simon Mannering for defense - far too much
Reliance of the roster on Manu Vatuvei for go forward - far too much
Don't have any issue with Lolohea being rater higher than Hoffman - he had to play all over the place. We'd have been a lot worse off without Lolohea than we were without Hoffman, whose value to the team trailed off when good ol' SOO dug its claws in. Mannering's workload and commitment in defense, which is the same pretty much every game, should see him above everyone else, IMO, including Matulino. That level of dedication, consistency and longevity is what we need more of.
Vete encompasses a lot of what I want to see from a rookie - he got better and better throughout the year, regardless of the sh*t the team was in.
