as the games worst RL commentator.

The two Kiwi f*cksticks who commentated the Warriors V Broncos game on fox.

Who are they and what are they doing on Television.....??

THE most pathetic commentary exhibition I have heard in a long time.

Disclaimer: and it wasn't just their skin crawling kiwi accents either.....

It was basically like listening to Vautin, Lewis and Lockyer calling a Broncos game except they were going for the other team

Maybe Vautin.......

but as far as I'm aware......neither Lewis or Lockyer would be considered as actually ever "calling" a game.

I'm not sure in which part of the universe you currently reside in, but they are bit players who have either "specialised comments" or run the sideline commentary.

Piss poor attempt doglicker.......go away.

I'm guessing you don't watch many NZ home games. The commentary is like this all the time.

As one of the other posts said, the colour commentator is Daryl Halligan. The other bloke's name is Dale Husband and is well known in Auckland league circles.

I agree with Mr Fourex, both commentators are horrible.

Thanks.......only recently got the foxtel up and running.

Next time the volume on the TV simply has to be turned down........no question.

Urghhh........Daryl Halligan!! Hated that merkin as a player.

Which one is the more gravely voiced of the two.....? He's the one that really got under my skin.

I agree with the post above, the Kiwi commentators are always one eyed. My assessment is that Vautin finds it hard to stay neutral when it comes to anything Qld, but Lockyer & Lewis are usually pretty good.

I f**kin love listening to Dale Husband. The kiwi games are always little biased but no worse than when QLD teams are called by QLD'ers.

It's been going on for years and I wonder what it does for the development of the game over there. I remember once when Locke had just debuted he made a decent run and the commentator said it was a bonus to have another skill besides his kicking. It was like he was talking about a rugby union winger who usually just catches and kicks. It's been over 30 years since a player has been picked for his goal kicking alone in league but this commentator was still catching up with that. He might not have known we'd moved on to 4 point tries.

Yup, I'm sure that has an effect on rugby league development

What happened to the Kiwi commentator who did the Warriors home matches last year? Did they drop him after one season? he wasn't too bad.
