So let's just assume the 3P ticket gets up, and we have 7 new directors.
What is the situation with regards to removing Fitzgerald.
Can he be sacked?
Does he have to serve his current contract before he can be removed?
Can he not be removed until the new directors are part of the Leagues Club Board?
All this does for me is to open a can of worms tbh. Could we REALLY expect to see a cosy and comfortable working relationship between the (possible) new board and Fitz in the meantime, when no doubt, one of their prime objectives would be to have him removed?
Before I vote, I want LOTS of answers.

he's also on a contract which expires 2010, meaning that we may need to pay him out if we want to get rif of him.
He'd have a fair bit of long service leave owed to him after 30 years.

Unless he has the integrity to walk if he no longer has support of the board.
I don't think he can be sacked until they change the members on the Leagues Club board - the Football Club only runs the junior grades now. It would depend though on the terms of his contract - what clauses it has in it etc - as to how and when he could be removed. Given his performance would assumingly be reviewed each season in regard to the Leagues Club and the Football club then there may be grounds to remove him but they'd have to be careful under unfair dismissal laws has to how they approach it.
It will be an interesting situaition that is certain.
lol..true.
just thinking about it, his long service leave may be a 50% stake of the club...don't be surprised.
as if..

Is he an employee or employed under a contract? If its a contract basis then he wouldn't have long service.

quick question, prior to when Gerard and Chris Jurd were invited to sit on the board, were they actual football club members??
