Not so quick reply.

Yes. Chris Jurd has for the last 9 AGM's that I have been to been the person to Move that we accept the Annual Report. Not sure about Gerard, I know he is a regular at the players reunion, But not being at home I do not have access to an annual report. But if you are hinting at impropriety on getting him on the board, I doubt it.

I just noticed that geffro is a life member..

I'd just like to reiterate that removing Fitzgerald is far from the list of my priorities when deciding who to vote for. That's on the record.

My major concern though is how the possible new board would work with him if they take control and, as I said, considering their supposed underlying motivation.
In other words, will it be a workable relationship.
I can see that we may well go through some tumultuous upheaval before the ship steadies again.

Suity

Have a look at the Bulldogs.

They voted out the people they wanted out and Andrew Farrar's ticket got in and we haven't seen them in the news with any conflict with Peponis. In fact, I think the Dogs have made better decisions from the lb perspective.

The board have decided to lower prices for Season Tickets as well as match day. Promote their memberships, etc

Also if the 7 directors of the 3P ticket get up, there are complicated wrinkles about having cross members from the Leagues club. There could be no chairman in reality as the Chairman has to sit on both the Leagues club and football club boards. I think that would mean that 2 of the 3P directors would have to drop off and 2 current leagues club directors, that got the next highest number of votes would have to be added and one of them would have to be the chair.

I agree there are a great deal more questions then answers in todays article. Also if the above is the communication to members, then it is quite lite on detail about what they want to do with the Football club. Again I guess we will hear more post Friday.

while I'll say it again, Leabeater is not a mamber and is ineligible to be voted on to the board.

I think Josh Massoud has goosed himself there.

regarding the cross over arrangement...

Yes, it means they can not get a full 7 on the board. So if this campaign is successful, depending of course on the eligibility of the remaining members of the 3P ticket, the question it raises is the distinct possibility that there will be a fractionated board. There are currently no instances where there could be a complete 3P board, but still in play is the possibility of the current board being retained. The largest of all possibilities is the fractionated board, and then it is down to how many members of the 3P ticket (which I think we can now agree is the only opposing ticket) get onto the board. In a complete rout, the get 5. In anything less, well it is a guessing game and unless they get a majority it is possible that their agenda might not be actioned.
