All of that is true...

So both teams were missing key personnel... But only one of them showed urgency and commitment from the opening whistle. The other mob were still in the sheds mentally until around half time...
Yep, watching the game with some butthurt Donkey fans I said after 2 mins we haven’t shown up. Good effort to get so close but we really gifted them 16 points early.

DCE really is a fart sniffer of the highest order. No wonder his team mates can’t stand him.

The worst part of the game is the potential for N Brown to be on sidelines again, and possibly Sivo.

that and likely having the panthers on the top of the table to end the round

Talking about easy draws, Panfas will take a Ben Hunt dummy half stroll to minor premiership

That first twenty minutes was the worst quarter of footy we've played defensively for a long time. Soft f**king tries happen, but literally three in a row like that is f**king poor.

In saying that though I reckon even in that period when we had the ball our forwards were winning the yardage battle, we just lacked attack through the spine, Gunco came good in the second half, but Field and Dylbro just haven't got enough between them to cover for losing Moses. Mahoney also had a poor game with the ball for the standards he's shown so far this year.

On the constantly going through the middle, that's BA playing to our strengths, with less potency on the edges what with injuries it makes perfect sense, and to a greater extent it worked, we f**king gobbled up meters there, just couldn't ice it with the lack of ball playing, and a pretty poor kicking game to end our sets.

Overall it sucks to lose that, but hardly panic stations, and it's pleasing that we ended up giving ourselves a shot by holding them to nil in the second half. Which just further displays how bad that first twenty was.

I don’t reckon he’s going that bad but he’s the shadow of his former self.
His form has been down ever since he Re-signed... Coincidental more than likely but I wonder if mentally he's as switched on as he should be. Let's not forget he has been at 4 clubs in the space of 5 years. Players who are focused and up for it every week tend not to shuffle in and out of teams like that...

We get a shot at them round 18, if we're still in the hunt, that game could well be the decider.

#fourpointgame.

It looks to be an attitude thing as far as I can tell. He seems to avoid the tough stuff. Rather than just tuck the ball under the arm when we need it and run as hard he can into the defensive line, he’s playing “cute” all the time. Also looks to be going through the motions in defence.

Gennings started and ended the game the same way. He is f**king hopeless. I’m not unhappy with the result to be honest. Don’t forget we have the following players out who would be in our 17:

Moses
Matterson
Ferguson
Kaufusi
Evans
Stone

and the handbrake came off early too.

Jennings made 197mtrs and his firs than a of footy in almost 12mths. I thought he was ok bar a few errors on a slippery night. He ran strongly.
Sivo also made errors and made half the meters.

Like quite a few others have said I don't think the game is the end of the world.

We simply didn't have the halves to take advantage of what everyone else did. Brown and Mahoney are still young, and Field has barely played first grade.

We had 3 or 4 more tries in us and no one structured us to take advantage of them. We never set ourselves up for anything.

And that's ok. 3 out of the 4 in the spine are young and inexperienced and (hopefully) they'll learn from last night.

We'll still be Top 4 at the end of the weekend and, at worst, 1 point from 1st.

Commentators said Matto, Fergo and Moses are back next week and Evans the week after. If that's true then we're sweet. If they're another week away then we just gotta regroup, learn from last night and get ready to stick it to the Tigers.

W.Smith is a better option the Field. He has a lot more experience.
Nikauore almost changed the game when he come on. Just before halftime we could of scored and went in 16-10. Instead we gave away 7 tackle set, went to sleep and where down 22-4.

Guthersons goal kicking is garbage under pressure. He had a game killer he missed against Knights and missed 2 important ones at time of game against Manly. Not easy kicks but shows the Cowboys game was just a fluke.

Add Terepo to the list of guys who where in the 17 when side was at strongest. If fit he plays last night.

This period without Moses shows how important he has become for us.
Without a doubt, Will Smith would have done a better job than Field and Dylan shat his pants. Poor merkin felt responsible and in the second half tried to do an 09 Hayne on every touch. Love to know the stat on “tackled with ball”.
