And it's shit, as I am guessing it will be the late delayed game on Friday night with manly/dogs being live.

So we will be stuck with gentleman Hadley commentating !!!!!

Depends what you're after I suppose. Peni runs like a train, he hasn't been as good as last year though. Kelepi is a better defender and hole runner but gets dominated a lot.

To be honest, Terepo does not get over the advantage line as you would expect for someone who runs as hard as he does. Seems to get hammered or pushed back in alot of tackles
And has hands like feet!

Heres one from left field .Move Corey Norman to 9 and bring in young Matterson as the 6 who has fielded offers from the storm.Corey would still use his kicking game and can pass well and quickly both directions and dart out of dummy half and ask questions of the defence.

How about we replace a hooker with a hooker? We do have a couple of options, depending on injury. Pritchard, Foran or Jones. I'm not saying that they are great options, but i reckon they're the best options we have. Out of those 3, if injury is no issue my preference would be Pritchard.

I agree my first choice is Kaysa but at the moment he cannot get through a game in NYC without being injured.

Under 20s hooker Kaysa Pritchard is being treated for a shoulder injury (return date to be confirmed).

Clicky

While it doesn't rule him out out it certainly doesn't bode well for his odds of playing on Friday.

Having had a fair look at all the options this year, Pritchard would be my first pick to replace Peats by some margin so the fact that he isn't fit is more than a tad concerning.

As far as the other remotely specialist options go it probably goes Jones/McKinnon   Dockar-Clay  Foran but I can't say I would be comfortable with any of these four at the helm.

I might be mistaken but I believe that Ben Jones is still only contracted to Wenty (as is McKinnon) so we will have to find space for him in our second tier cap. Problem is, our second tier cap is meant to be a mess this year, so we will likely have to appeal to the NRL for cap concessions due to the injuries to Peats and Pritchard.

bring back Kingston for the rest of the year

he loves the joint and would harden the middle in defence

play a youngster of the bench in some games and give him 15min per game

Yep Norman to 9 and Sandow to 14.

Given all the options available to us I think we could do worse than give Kelly a shot at the 9 at the moment

Rumour has it that due to problems with salary cap and players signed previously but not good enough, we have a limited pool to choose from (19 was a number I heard)

So not sure we will be able to promote anyone without some concessions :(

And don't forget all the backended deals that DA left us with.

do you think we will ever have a coach leave and we won't have stories about how f**ked they left us under the cap? ..... seriously

Strider think now we have to let someone build the club

If you look at what Sticky is doing at Raiders, paying overs for an often injured Tedesco, and how he left Cronulla and to a lesser extent the Rorters, it is not unbelievable how we seem it have issue.

I didn't make this up, a very reliable source

Once your cap is f**ked it's nearly impossible not to perpetuate it. If your squad isn't good enough you need to buy players on overs (because without overs they won't come sign) but if your cap is full you need to back end the contract.

And the cycle of life continues.
