Head Coach Brad Arthur has named his Dyldam Parramatta Eels side to face the North Queensland Cowboys on Friday night at Pirtek Stadium, Parramatta.

With hooker Nathan Peats ruled out through injury, Luke Kelly joins the side in the number nine jersey, while Willie Tonga and Kenny Edwards return to the NRL side this week.

Parramatta Eels hooker Nathan Peats has injured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee following last night?s game against the Penrith Panthers.

Nathan had scans today and will see a specialist next week to determine the extent of the injury.

Eels forward Darcy Lussick will also have scans during the week after leaving the field with a bruised kneecap.

You would have to think if Fui cannot get a run and we're going to continue with Terepo, with Lussick out injured and Allgood suspended that Fui's services at the Club are no longer required.

Fui must have really upset someone not to be selected to get a run this week. You'd have to assume their message that he won't be signed for next season is well and truly understood by now. Ditto to Ben Smith.

But after reports in the Wenty thread of his form last match, I'm surprised Fui hasn't been recalled to the bench in the absence of Lussick and Allgood, even if only to give one of the other young kids having a tilt at first grade a week's break.

Tanginoa seems to be out injured? He'd be close to getting a call up again soon too otherwise. Good to see Edwards back, and hope Mossop's debut goes well.

Apart from that, Kelly is the only real option we have to fill in at #9 until we buy someone else. Here's hoping we train hard and somehow manage an upset and beat the Cowboys!

So you think that they are both top 17 players ? Some would argue that the above two would be shithouse behind a break even pack. You obviously think otherwise.
